Nice! I was actually thinking of building a skill drain deck recently. It's crazy that basically no one has played skill drain for the past like 3 years when it's such a powerful card xD Goolahz topped with a skill drain burn list last week, first time seeing Skill Drain in a loooooong time.

I saw that list last week, and was so jealous. I think he was playing Orcs and just a crazy shell I’ve never seen before. I’ve seen gardna burn back in the day paired with skill drain, but that new deck he made is so nasty. I’ve been playing around with Skill Drain lately, and it’s a powerful card forsure. This is more of a casual build, but how would you approach skill drain?

@@skilledbrownmagician2301 I'd go with a build similar to yours, except I might play at least a 2nd toon goblin. I might not play solemn though, I don't like paying that much lp with solemn and skill drain, I'll just live with skill drain getting outed sometimes. I'd also play 2-3 jar of greed. I think literally every deck in Goat Format should be playing jar of greed.

Ayy he's back...again lol Ever thought on running more Toon GAF since it can be searched so easily? Also have you thought about Fusilier Dragon?

Yooo, janjoooo. I much prefer regular GAF since Toon GAF not being able to attack the turn it summons is painful. In my old version, I ran Toon GAF at 3 and it just did not feel good. I never really felt as if I wanted to see him badly enough to even warrant a second copy. Fusilier is definitely fire with Skill Drain, but I wanted to play a monster lineup that could stand alone without Skill Drain. I feel that Fusilier requires other cards to support it (meta, BoM, Tsuk for ex.) and my list doesn’t lend itself very well to that I think.

Cool video some suggestions i have is including a side deck in these profiles.
I know the metagame can shift around but tell us what your main deck has a good match up against and incorporate what you can side in vs tougher match ups.
Im sure a full 55 list more people will be able to copy for themselves and try out on ladder, locals etc

One of the best cards to combo with skill drain is big shield gardna. Chain skill drain to attack dec with their mystic lvl2 and daaammmmmnnnnnnn
Also it’s searchable, will make your opponent neg 1 if you set it cause it’s huge noc bait

Gardna + Skill Drain is so nasty in a burn deck. Literally walls so many cards and when you Set him he can’t be knocked. Truly an underrated combo, thanks for reminding me!

I built a Return Machine deck on Duelingbook and was messing around with it earlier today! It was doing decent not gonna lie! I didn’t get to use return though. Limiter was super strong though and did help me win the game twice. Limiter is definitely the best part about machines!

@@skilledbrownmagician2301 yeah mainly would like to see the most competitive machine limiter removal deck. I had tried building something with the XYZ cannons and return since they have to banish to summon the fusion monsters. Seemed fun, but want something more competitive. Appreciate the response

I like that a lot. It’s a super easy substitute for drain for G2/3. Final Attack Orders is so good turning Goblin/Orc into Atk mode when the Opponent swings in
