What I like about CWs animations is that they are not trying to be ultra realistic and tacticool. It fits with the Black Ops universe, it was always more like an Action spy thriller turned video game more than a realistic depiction of history. MW always had more realism to it and that gives the series its signature feel, the animations and sound are top notch, but I've always felt the game play less fun than Black Ops. It's very noticeable between CW and MW, especially in TTK.
MW2019 indeed has better animations and graphically looks superior BUT Cold War has the superior multiplayer overall and it's the better game in my opinion.
I think they’re both good in their own ways. Comparing the two isn’t really fair on an individual standpoint. I get they both were in Warzone but they both have different things to offer in terms of tone, setting, atmosphere and gameplay.
Actually, I think the animation and sound quality of MW2019 are overwhelming, but considering the development of BOCW, I think the quality of BOCW's animation and sound is also good. You should also check the animation and sound quality of Infinity Ward's MWII (2022) and Treyarch's new Call of Duty (2024) series.
i like to put both MW2019 and CW in its own ways CW has the arcade-like fast action similar to a throwback to the older black ops games MW focuses on attention to detail where ever it can
As much as I appreciate the attention to the little details in games(a little can go a long way),I feel like a lot people suck off the reload animations to the point of absurdity in mw2019.
@Somerandompersonisawesomebeoch Bo3, IW, WW2, heck even BO4 all had effort put into them. There were some aspects of each that weren't too great but to say that mw2019 was the first to have real effort put into it is simply disingenuous
Between the two, I liked Cold War better as a game. But without a doubt MW has better attention to detail, sounds, and animation FLOW. on the other hand I give Cold War slack because 1. it was rushed and given to a unsuspecting team Treyarch, and the Pandemic was an Issue. 2. Treyarchs games have been more on the Arcade, Unrealistic side of things. Overall I prefer Cold War because it's still a great game to me now, when it was released not so much, but now yes. Attention to detail and Animation doesn't have to be all that as long as it now has what it was missing then.

I honestly think you guys like to complain about Cold War just for the sake of complaining because this game isn't bad at all. Not only was this game being developed during Covid quarantine era but Treyarch also didn't have access to the same engine that MW runs on. Not every game has to have fancy tactical reloads, especially since those reloads you see in MW weren't really practiced in the 80s. This game is a solid Black Ops title.

Cold War was rushed but it’s ten times better than MW. It’s old COD design with the graphics of MW almost. Quite honestly I’ve always preferred Treyarch’s games and MWII looks like it’s gonna be exactly the same as MW so not looking forward to it.
@@qmuscroft03 What cap? MW is campy and has maps that are too huge and complicated for CoD 6v6. The campaign of CW is better in most ways, and MW spec ops is ass, while CW zombies is really good! Sure, the gunplay and graphics are a bit better in MW, but CW has better maps, better gamemodes, slightly better class design, and encourages much better gameplay with its challenges, for the most part. 12v12 and 6v6 face-off alone are enough to make CW's multiplayer way more fun than MW's will ever be. CW has dead silence as a perk, and the footstep audio isn't stupidly loud. Still, if MWII's multiplayer has gunplay and a gunsmith like MW, but with many changes to make it less campy, I think it could be one of the best CoDs ever.

Treyarch tries too hard to make their games "competitive" rather than fun. Not to mention their inconsistent design philosophy, such as an increased TTK while keeping burst rifles the same and adding shotgun secondaries. I wouldn't even mind shotgun secondaries if there was a penalty for kitting them out (Which is why Pick-10 worked for their games.) But there isn't, and any old fool can add a 1-shot shotgun with no downside. They fell off hard after chasing the eSports bandwagon in BO4. @@steveman0420 That's pretty interesting but did you know that the Benz Patent-Motorwagen ("patent motorcar"), built in 1885 by the German Carl Benz, is widely regarded as the world's first practical automobile, a self-propelled vehicle for carrying people, and first car put into series production. It was patented and unveiled in 1886. The original cost of the vehicle in 1886 was 600 imperial German marks approximately 150 US dollars (equivalent to $4,524 in 2021). After developing a successful gasoline-powered two-stroke piston engine in 1873, Benz focused on developing a motorized vehicle while maintaining a career as a designer and manufacturer of stationary engines and their associated parts. The Benz Patent-Motorwagen was a motor tricycle with a rear-mounted engine. The vehicle contained many new inventions. It was constructed of steel tubing with woodwork panels. The steel-spoked wheels and solid rubber tires were Benz's own design. Steering was by way of a toothed rack that pivoted the unsprung front wheel. Fully elliptic springs were used at the back along with a beam axle and chain drive on both sides. A simple belt system served as a single-speed transmission, varying torque between an open disc and drive disc. The first Motorwagen used the Benz 954 cc (58.2 cu in) single-cylinder four-stroke engine with trembler coil ignition. This new engine produced 500 watts (2⁄3 hp) at 250 rpm in the Patent-Motorwagen, although later tests by the University of Mannheim showed it to be capable of 670 W (0.9 hp) at 400 rpm. It was an extremely light engine for the time, weighing about 100 kg (220 lb). Although its open crankcase and drip oiling system would be alien to a modern mechanic, its use of a pushrod-operated poppet valve for exhaust would be quite familiar. A large horizontal flywheel stabilized the single-cylinder engine's power output. An evaporative carburettor was controlled by a sleeve valve to regulate power and engine speed. The first model of the Motorwagen had not been built with a carburettor, rather a basin of fuel soaked fibers that supplied fuel to the cylinder by evaporation. The vehicle was awarded the German patent number 37435, for which Karl Benz applied on 29 January 1886. Following official procedures, the date of the application became the patent date for the invention once the patent was granted, which occurred in November of that year. Benz unveiled his invention to the public on 3 July 1886, on the Ringstrasse in Mannheim. Benz later made more models of the Motorwagen: model number 2 had 1.1 kW (1.5 hp) engine, and model number 3 had 1.5 kW (2 hp) engine, allowing the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of approximately 16 km/h (10 mph). The chassis was improved in 1887 with the introduction of wooden-spoke wheels, a fuel tank, and a manual leather shoe brake on the rear wheels. About 25 Patent-Motorwagen were built between 1886 and 1893.
@@RickettsJr thats awesome but did you also know that A carbine is a long gun that has a barrel shortened from its original length . Most modern carbines are rifles that are compact versions of a longer rifle or are rifles chambered for less powerful cartridges. The smaller size and lighter weight of carbines make them easier to handle. They are typically issued to high-mobility troops such as special-operations soldiers and paratroopers, as well as to mounted, artillery, logistics, or other non-infantry personnel whose roles do not require full-sized rifles, although there is a growing tendency for carbines to be issued to front-line soldiers to offset the increasing weight of other issued equipment. An example of this is the US Army's M4 carbine, which is standard issue. A firearm does not require a stock or arm brace in order to be considered a carbine.

I liked them because they didn’t make your camera have a stroke. And it felt more realistic for the average soldier speed time

This is the first gun testing video I've ever seen where the shooter didn't point the gun at the sky.

@@FastnOut how is that a bad thing

good... a detailed comparison!
i like to put both MW2019 and CW in its own ways
CW has the arcade-like fast action similar to a throwback to the older black ops games
MW focuses on attention to detail where ever it can
average internet user be like:
lmao the MP5 inspecting in CW looks poor then other weapons
As much as I appreciate the attention to the little details in games(a little can go a long way),I feel like a lot people suck off the reload animations to the point of absurdity in mw2019.
And the inspects that add nothing to gameplay
Because it's the first cod since even AW (Yes I like AW not ashamed) to have actual effort put into it.
But without a doubt MW has better attention to detail, sounds, and animation FLOW.
on the other hand I give Cold War slack because
1. it was rushed and given to a unsuspecting team Treyarch, and the Pandemic was an Issue.
2. Treyarchs games have been more on the Arcade, Unrealistic side of things.
Overall I prefer Cold War because it's still a great game to me now, when it was released not so much, but now yes.
Attention to detail and Animation doesn't have to be all that as long as it now has what it was missing then.
Cold wars Guns sound so video gameish and it doesn't sound that good imo but mw their guns sound extraordinary and so real
If we mixed both the games then we would have the best game.
not at all. mw wasn't the best but cw's uninspired maps, awkward gunplay and gameplay and sbmm sucked ass. i guess if they gave us lesd camping spots, more balanced metas, no sbmm and faster movement mw would be the perfect cod game.
@@wasfianajrin6587 faster movement? Are you insane? MW19 has insanely fast movement compared to other cods

It’s sad to see CW/treyarch getting a bad rep without anyone knowing their circumstance

Alright this whole narrative gets shot down real quick as soon as you actually play MW. Like it’s not fun at all it’s the same high ttk camping bs. Cold War was rushed but it’s ten times better than MW. It’s old COD design with the graphics of MW almost. Quite honestly I’ve always preferred Treyarch’s games and MWII looks like it’s gonna be exactly the same as MW so not looking forward to it.
No stop the cap lmao
@@LanceTheManipulor I hope MWII will improve alot of ways so I can finally shit on Treyarch for making CW since alot of fans wanted CW to be like MW but in cold war settings and improvements and features but nope they fumbled it and make disappointing game instead...
Not that I liked BO3 much, but at least that was objectively pretty good.
