Between the last episode and this one, the Ultra Dragon left the team and Zane's father, Dr. Julien, unfortunately passed away from old age once again.
You remember correctly, Zane's dad was alive at the end of Season 2. The creators had him die offscreen during the timeskip. Not really sure why, but I guess it makes sense. He was already pretty old and he'd already died of old age before. Samukai's potion was probably only able to revive him for a limited time, like several years. But at least he got to spend his final days with his son.
The Overlord can take numerous amount of forms he doesn’t have a permanent form but the dragon was his first form he took physically and the Bubble/Spirt Form is his Weakened Form
the bubble/spirit form is his true form...since its the form he defaults to after he's been defeated/destroyed his dragon form simply the result of him taking possession of somebody with dragon blood
@@XRaiden1 well...there is the theory that he's the negative emotions of the FSM, so his original form could be a dragon with oni traits also its original form, not true form...he does not have a true form
Season 3 may not be my favourite season of the show, but if anything this season makes you love Zane so much more than we already did, as his character truly gets the spotlight in this new technological world. PIXAL as a character is also one of best characters of the whole show and really goes through a lot of character development, plus her relationship with Zane is ine of the best relationships of the show
I don't know why nobody ever notices that the Overlords voice when he first shows up in S2 is the same as in this episode. They always think he's a completely new character.
We're finally here, Season 3 has begun. Super excited for you to see one of the future episodes that ties up something from Season 2 which you were questioning.
I honestly don't think that much time passed between Season 2 and 3, especially since Brad is still a kid. Maybe a year at least, since that's about how long the gap between the seasons was in real life (the Season 2 final aired on November 21, 2012, while the Season 3 premiere aired on January 29, 2014, making it a year and two months). The only real "bad" thing about this season is the love triangle. Personally, I think the Overlord messed with the results in an attempt to divide the Ninja, which kinda worked. That's my headcanon anyway.
So glad you absolutely loved the premiere. I can't wait for you too continue and eventually finished this season because again it's one of my all time favorites only barely bested by season 5.
Yeah that love triangle between Jay, Cole and Nya was definitely one of the worst parts about this season, especially since Jay and Cole always had good friendship and Nya always felt more mature than being sidelined in a romantic subplot, fortunately this love triangle doesn't last too long in the show
The love triangle will seem out of place in this season, but the next season will make up for it. It helps split the team up without the main antagonists having to do too much- and it gets resolved pretty satisfyingly. That being said, I'd argue that one part of this season's finale rivals that of Avengers: Endgame's, purely because of how long they drag it out.
You weren’t wrong, this is a good season start. But it’s ending is even better. As for how much of a time-skip, we don’t actually know. If you’ve noticed they don’t really do dates or ages on this show. You asked about Zane’s dad, and I believe the implication is that in that time-skip, he died, probably because of old age. I imagine Samukai’s potion only gave him a few extra years.
Guys no one spoil the ending the finale is insane and is really good to not have any clue what happens because it’s just such a big part of it and the next season
I'm pretty sure 2-4 years have passed between S2 and S3 (the number isn't exactly known but you can figure out based on how much has changed on such a large scale)
The thing is, I feel like it'd need more than 2-4 years to get to that point, but it makes sense with how smart the Borg dude is, I guess. It's clear the show doesn't care much about timelines. Lol
@@ReactZones I mean it gets better later on at establishing dates, the show becomes MUCH more complex and detailed than it is now and the lore is expanded on heavily, starting properly from Tournament of Elements (S4). Honestly I think if you're enjoying the show right now you'll LOVE S4, S5, S8 and S9
Dude all I'm gonna say is by the end of this season, the ending is seriously Gonna get you right in the feelings! That's All I'm going to say but other than that i hope you have an Amazing Day today if you see this! 😁

@@xxmension04xx47 funny thing is this is what i was thinking of as to why that is(its a theory that i personally keep as head canon)
The Nindriods at the end you saw were made from Zane’s Blueprints so that’s what Pixal meant by “Upgrade”

Without spoiling anything, this season has by far my favourite seasonfinale. :)
Hope u enjoy it and that we'll get new reactions as soon as possible
personally, I prefer Seabound's finale as well as Hunted and possession. This seasons finale is still very solid though imo.
This is honestly one of the best beginning episodes for a season! ❄️👏

I saw it.. and I am happy. ;)

You have no idea how happy I am you are back with more Ninjago 👌

Zane’s Father died between S2 and S3 you didn’t miss any sacrifice he died from old age and it’s been about 2 years since the end of S2 🙏
The great season 3 has begin, but also so has the annoying love triangle 🤣

4:19 After last episode, he passed away from natural causes 😞
That's sad. RiP.
1:27: Nah they still Teenagers, like 16-17
4:19: He died again in between this season the the previous one

RIP Technoblade
I want everyone to say bruh when the technoblades are being used.
Reactzone: He’s got old bones
Me who’s seen seasons 11 and 15 (he gets a lot of really badass battles): Mhm.
4:18 Yeah, the writers just decided to get rid of him off screen
LET‘S GOOO…, it‘s going to be great!👍🏼
The time skip amount is unknown but most fans believe it to be about a year or so
The next episode is really good

Yeah this is when they really cut out filler and really got into story more
Yooo the new season
realy curius too see how you think what the author cooked in season 3
Bro doesn’t know what’s going to happen 😢

Technoblades in Ninjago : 😀
Technoblades in Real Life : 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think the voice actor for Zane’s dad died in real life so they decided to kill him off in the show too
RiP.
I really hope not but it would make sense....R.I.P
Not true. Zane's dad is voiced by Mark Oliver, who also voices Garmadon, so he didn't die.
Well actually React Zone, The Ninja canonically still Teenagers. (As proven by the New Seasons) ☝️🤓
Great vid ❤
I have no idea why people don't like this season. It was my favorite for a long time.
Heck yea!
Always commenting on the new ones for the algorithim
I Think Zane’s Dad Passed Away From Old Age
That seems to be the case. RIP. :(
Anyone notice the Transformers sound effects?
