I used the same organization method as you for probably 40 years, and finally in my old age decided I don't need that many clothes for the life I lead. So now I organize by outfits. I put mini capsules together, or just a complete outfit together, group it by occasion, and organize it that way. So now in the mornings, I check the weather, check my calendar/to-do list, and grab from the appropriate section. I've also started minimalizing the number of pieces I own. While it's nice to have options, too many get overwhelming. My closet now fits the live I actually live, and not the one I wish I had. I am finally happy to get dressed in the morning.

I just met with a designer from Closets by Design. I'm putting in enough drawers so i won't need dressers in the bedroom. And I'm adding a vanity with lighting to do my hair and makeup. I also have trouble letting go of clothes. But with your inspiration, it's gotten easier. So thank you!

I would love to see your bags a little more. I personally love the mix of designer and lower cost items. I don’t buy ready to wear or even a lot of clothes period but I have a few bags I’ve gotten both new and preloved that when pulled with an outfit elevated the entire look.

I just did a closet spring clean and as I was organizing my bag I realized I stick to 3 tones..brown nuetrals, black, and the jewel tones (I have 1 red, 1emerald, 1 blue).
I’m eyeing a chanel mini preloved and can’t decide on pink , black chevron mini or white mini.

Ah yay!! It's so much fun 🥰 We usually have help 2x/week and those are usually the days I film! I always film in the afternoon during her nap anyway since she's usually loud in the house haha. I also work on the weekend when Tim is off but I'm trying to get better about having one weekend day off. It's just a lot of juggling back and forth between Tim and I during the week :)
