I still love it here, been all along our Gulf Coast for 40 years, I'm so very glad I saw it in the 80s.
We are in Pace, 20 years after Ivan, from Gulf Breeze, boo, working on a, sell, gotta live in Destin.
There’s a HUGE difference between living here and vacationing here. People don’t realize it. Look up insurance rates BEFORE you buy. Remember there are NOT many public beaches left. Traffic is insane, insurance is insane, and there’s no more small town feel.
Summer is an A.M. state. Get home by noon. Good to go
we just visited for the first time in April, so busy and no parking so on the way out we just pulled over on the right side just past the beautiful crab island and enjoyed chillin until traffic died down and it did, anyhow next time we visit Destin it will have to be on our boat

No there is just humid and hot and then less humid and less hot
i loved old florida over 50 years ago. it's not so nice anymore.
Far too many people, 30-A ruined as well. I was going to build in Blue Mt beach...hard pass.
