Just went here two weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and the dj was playing really loud so it was hard to concentrate. The selection was a few years old and pricy. It was well gone through. That being said I did pick up 4 records. The best was Passenger " Whispers" which was pricy at 30 bucks but an excellent double record. I really only get to the letter F and the dj music made it to hard to shop. I would go back but only during the day time.
I love watching your videos. They make me so homesick. I spent the first 43 years of my life in Dallas and spent LOTS of that time in Deep Ellum. Keep the videos comin'. Oh and Fuzzy's Tacos rocks.
Seems like you've gone everywhere I like. Good/Forever Young/Josey. A friend of mine had a store that just closed in Carrollton called Dead Wax Records. He plans to reopen at some point this year so keep an ear out.
I'm guessing the jive talkin' pimp was on the scene for a different show. You went in fully loaded after that plate. Cool pickups, rockin' the drum room with those lp's! - Lj

Not sure if I dig that setup. I usually like the intimate atmosphere of a record store away from loud drunk people. But who know? This might work.
