Oh my goodness!! These are so stinking adorable!!! I absolutely love these!!!! 💞💞💞💞
oh my gosh about a year ago I kind of went on strike and didn’t do crafts anymore. Made myself a whole craft room but just didn’t do anything anymore didn’t watch any craft videos. You were always one of my favorites you and Faith chick 777. I recently ran across you and I am so excited to get started on crafts again I just went outside of my garage and pulled all the jeans out of my donation bag and cut them up. Thank you so much for your inspiration and I love your style And I’m so excited to get started crafting again.
Thank you so much! I am SOOOO happy you found me again and that i inspired you a little to get those jeans out of that donation bag and cut them up. Happy crafting sweet friend. 💕
These would be so cute in a garland, strung up across a fireplace mantle!

Your ideas are so cute
I did pot holder with the pockets
oh yes, watching from Lincoln, Nebraska.
These are super cute. You really make some of the cutest unique items. I love watching and listening to you tell your stories and you also take the time to explain your steps. For a non-crafter most of my life, I really do appreciate it. Even if that one project I know I wouldn't be able to make it I still enjoy listening. You have a calming voice and it helps a lot of the time to my mind off my pain watching your videos. Thats one reason why I say I could listen and watch you make wreaths for hr's. Plus I just love your wreaths. 😁 I started to make wreaths and I hope one day mine will be as cute as yours.
Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for your kindness. It is much appreciated. We need more people like you in the world. 💕🌸 Thanks for being here!!
I’ve made them with greenery and pretty pics coming out of the top two
I always watch you till the end. Love your style. Thanks for sharing.

Hello from Tennessee
Crystal from Warren Pennsylvania
Dear Tracy,
I was watching your video with the painted Jean pockets, and I had an idea. Would one of your small smashed tins fit into the denim pockets? You may be able to attach them with the cropadile and some wire or rusty safety pins. What do you think?Anyway thanks for your inspiration and encouragement. Have a great day!Bonnie
Great idea!

Distress oxide inks are pigment inks vs regular distress ink which is a dye ink...for distressing I refer the dye ink..buy a refill if you don't need to replace your pad.
Thank you so much for your insight into the difference. I prefer the distress dye ink and thankfully I did purchase the refill when I found the pad on Amazon. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
Oh WOW! I love love love them all! They all are so adorable! I also absolutely loved the one when you used, was it your Dad's pocket? Take care and God Bless y'all always
Yes it was my dad's pocket from a long time ago. So special.

I am glad you showed how to do the Jean pocket. I have always wanted to know how to do them. What do you use for the back of the pocket?
Here is a video that I share how I cute my pockets out of the jeans so its all in tact. ua-cam.com/users/shortst0lwSPymlHY?feature=share

these are so cute!! I'm gonna have to make some for the grandkids. did you ever say how you attached the two pockets together?
They are in tact from cutting out from the jeans. I just cut through the denim from the waist and it already has a backside from the actual jeans.
oh duddd lol

First time watching .. beautiful pkts . What kind of camera did you say you uses , zoom in and out ? I’m from a Texas , I’m just starting my small business . 🙏🏼
I have a Mevo Start. It's a bit of an investment but I love it. here is my affiliate link ~ amzn.to/3N0MFV7
These are so cute!! I love them!!🎄❤💚 How much would you sell these for in your booth?
I don't have a booth but if you're meaning at the gift shop I make the wreaths for....they're not going to make it there. I had someone contact me and wanted to buy them. I sold them for $10 each plus shipping.
@@countrycharmbytracy I'm sorry. I meant any booth, I'm trying to get a handle on the pricing. This isn't my first booth or to sell my wares but I have never been good at pricing. Thank you for your help.
Did you just cut thru both layers,(pocket and jean) to cut them off? Use a ripper to get pocket off? I see a backing on the pockets, but it doesn’t look like it goes all the way up to the top. Thx.
I just cut off the pocket through the jeans so it’s all in tact. I just used my fabric scissors to trim any excess material.
Hello from southern Indiana. I did craft shows in the 90’s too. I also owned a brick and mortar craft store. After a divorce, I lost interest in painting. I was wondering… have you been crafting consistently all these years? ❤️❤️❤️👍
I've been a crafter since my teens and when the online space became available I love sharing my ideas through video tutorials on youtube and facebook.
What brand of Heat gun do you use?? Do you like it?? does it have more then 1 speed?? Some seem to be priced a lot higher and then there are some lower priced ones. Thanks.
My heat gun is a Warrior brand which I purchased at Harbor Freight. I think I paid around $30 about 2 years ago. It has 2-speeds and gets VERY hot. The scar on my right forearm is one from the heat gun falling over on my arm and the nozzle touched it, giving me a pretty nasty burn. I learned from that set it away from me now.
@@countrycharmbytracy Thank you. I did see the Warrior one when I was doing a google search. It was at Harbor Freight but it looks like it is only $16.99 now!! Maybe because they have come out with an updated model???? $16.99 is do-able for sure!!! Thank you.
What ideas do you have to put in the pockets for men and for women?
I'm more of a gift card shopper.
Hi Tracy, do you have a video painting the faces?
Never mind, my lord. I thought there was another video. Sorry
I’m working on a video to share the gingerbread and snowman pockets and I paint the faces for those in my upcoming video. I do have many other videos on my channel with painting whimsical faces.
Cuba Kentucky. I want to know if you have heard of it? It is Western Kentucky. Have a great day.
I have never heard of Cuba Kentucky....♥️
Tina Holloway from springfield ohio
how do you put the pockets together? sew them?
They’re already together. I just cut them as a whole piece from the blue jeans. I cut with my fabric scissors.
Hi how do you set the 2 pkts together ? See ?
I cut through the actual jeans and the pocket is in tact. It has the back side from the jeans.
Did you use card stock paper?
Yes I used cream/ivory cardstock paper for the tags
Thanks so much for this awesome project. I want to give it a try. I did have a couple of questions. Is there a "supply list" that lists the paint brands and colors? Do you know what size your paint brushes are that you use?? You also mention something about the color around the edge of the pocket- did you say that that is a chalk paint?? I also heard something about plaster?? Is it a different type of paint that you are using for the edge or is is just the color name? Is there a good place to find the homespun fabric?? Joanns no longer carries it. I found a few at HL. I am looking for the red/green plaid that you used on the red santa. I know that you didn't save your yarn labels. It looks like Homespun yarn by Lion Brand but I know that HL also carries a couple that may be similar but in the yarn Bee brand. I think that one was called Fireside and one was called fleece light. I looked up the Lion Brand trying to match up the colors and I noticed that they have a thick and quick version of the Homespun also- Did you use the "regular" or the thicker one?? I have been out collecting my supplies to give this a go. Thanks so much for sharing.
Carla see my answers below:
I did have a couple of questions. Is there a "supply list" that lists the paint brands and colors? _I mention the paint colors and brand during my craft. I have a library full of many painting videos that you can check out too._
Do you know what size your paint brushes are that you use?? I _ most often use these brushes here - amzn.to/3FvY65R I also have a paint chart that I refer to here: bit.ly/2SDbyuX and mention it in my videos if I think about it. _
You also mention something about the color around the edge of the pocket- did you say that that is a chalk paint?? I also heard something about plaster?? _I used Plaster Waverly chalk paint around the edges of some of the pockets. Waverly is sold at Walmart._
Is it a different type of paint that you are using for the edge or is is just the color name? _Plaster is the paint name referring the paint color - Waverly is the brand sold at Walmart._
Is there a good place to find the homespun fabric?? _Hobby Lobby, Walmart and Jubilee Fabrics online - __bit.ly/3CSe4VZ_ Joanns no longer carries it. I found a few at HL. I am looking for the red/green plaid that you used on the red santa.
I know that you didn't save your yarn labels. _I bought the yarn at Hobby Lobby and even though I've had mine for a few years, a subscriber mentioned recently HL still carries it_ It looks like Homespun yarn by Lion Brand but I know that HL also carries a couple that may be similar but in the yarn Bee brand. I think that one was called Fireside and one was called fleece light. I looked up the Lion Brand trying to match up the colors and I noticed that they have a thick and quick version of the Homespun also- Did you use the "regular" or the thicker one?? _I have no idea what weight it is_ I have been out collecting my supplies to give this a go. _wonderful_
@@countrycharmbytracy Thank you so much. I appreciate your help. I did see the 2 brands of yarn at Hobby lobby but it seems like they are varigated. I cannot tell in the video if either of yours are varigated or a solid color. One of yours looks like an off white and the other is almost like a light oatmeal beige color. It is so hard to tell on screens and monitors. I will check out the rest of the links. Thanks again. I look forward to making them.
Hi Tracy, do you know the name of the green that you used on the edging of the pocket with the fan brush. I think that is the only one that I didn't hear you mention the color?? You already had the snowman edges painted- is that black or navy blue?? Thanks!!
Holly green on the Santa
Black stripes on the snowman pocket
Do you put a nose on the gingerbread person?
I put a red dot for a nose on the gingerbread. I just used the end of a paintbrush.
I thought I could hang it in my bathroom and use it to hold makeup brushes, hairbrush, or whatever.
Wonderful idea 👍👍
there were a lot of ads this time
I do have the "skip ads" option added to all of my videos that pops up in the lower right hand corner after 5 seconds. The ads are what allows me to continue providing free tutorials here on YT and helps supports my family with income. Thanks for watching. ~ Tracy
I will look for that button thx
