Thank you, My sister gave me some chick peas and I hadn't ever eaten them before and I asked what to do with them and she said put them in salads, I did but they where horrible. We do follow a similar recipe, but add a bit of spices and garlic and instead of parsley we add chopped green chillies and coriander. We flatten it slightly before frying. I love the idea of dipping it into crumbs. Will definitely be trying it. Thank you.

Discovered your recipe yesterday and tried it today. YUMMY! Family members and me love it.
The recipe and process reminded me of the Indian 'chana dhall vadai' ....but more delicious and crispier on the outside.
We modified a little based on what we had in the kitchen - replaced parsley with chopped curry leaves. And also added chopped green chillies as well as coarsely pounded cummin seeds.
Thank you very much for this great recipe. This one is for keeps.
