Bluetooth although run on 2.4 GHZ is not the same as a wireless receiver, some uses UHF frequencies.. Xvive and any other protocol that is non bluetooth uses wireless RF waves, just like how ur wirless mic works. Hence why u cant pick up xvive or any other wireless system on ur bluetooth list.
While it shares the 2.4 GHz frequency with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, dongles like XVive’s technology avoids the limitations of Bluetooth profiles and codecs.
Xvive's works great for me. I use it to make my life easier. Those little shits have came in handy so many times. If I'm promising a client wireless I'm using my Sennheiser G4 system.
0:29 I've been saying the same thing but every pioneer "UA-camr" argues that pioneer somehow discovered the secret sauce 😂.
It’s all the same crap. Just a fancy name lol.
Phenyx pro just released a $99 wireless XLR that scans and runs on UHF. Just sayin.
Yea they came out after the video was made.
Confirming your BT work around can only be used on a wireless mic? Not a Lav mic?
It’s a mic receiver. You can use a handheld, lav, or any transmitter that works with it 👍🏼
How do you feel about UHF versions of the 2.4ghz xlr adapters?
I use the Shure version. I love them.

Xvive run on the 2.4GHZ spectrum. So does Bluetooth. It’s all the same.
@@djtechtips There is a difference in the protocols, otherwise these wireless dongles will have the same range as bluetooth.

My point exactly
just used the Xvive's for the first time last night. I tried a few channels but could never get a clean signal at event 30ft away
