They were in this part of Wales recording Bohemian Rhapsody at the time this would have been in the 1970s. Hoping John is doing well

I finally got around to giving Hot Space a good listening and can say that it is a seriously good grower of an album once you get past the jarring shift in musical direction compared to their previous works.
Live Killers double cd release has this track. The 3 music videos from News Of The World are We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and Spread Your Wings. In the 1990s they were released in VHS format as Queen Greatest Flix.
So glad @Queen Official did an official lyric video for Spread Your Wings. Probably the best Queen song that no one knows about…it was a little overshadowed on that amazing News of the World album. Thank you, this is my favorite ‘underrated/unknown’ Queen song, and it has a lot of personal meaning to me. Thank you, Queen. Thank you, John Deacon for this masterpiece of music and poetry. the less we see and hear of him, the happier he is. there are such upsetting vids on here of "fans" hounding him for autographs. hes done, he want none, and we can still be grateful for what he helped to give us.

I discovered recently, a stack of LP albums I had tucked away years and years ago, and among them is News of the World, in mint condition. It was like finding a treasure chest!
Absolutely love this song. Probably my favourite of all. Turn it up loud and feel the hope it inspires. The best moment is the soaring electric overtone while the classical guitar plays underneath just before flying off to the outro. Beautiful. 3:22
That whole album was great! I had the CD in the 90’s. Sadly, I didn’t get into Queen until the early 90’s after Freddy had already passed. It was the BH feature in Wayne’s World that pulled me in. I was born in the mid seventies. My favorite from that album is It’s Late.

Yeah it's one of those "deep cuts" but it's a beautiful song both melodically and written.
