@2005chevZ71 on the wii, you have to complete the seperate ways quest, then you can buy it from the merchant for 1,000,000 pesetas. on the gamecube, you complete assignment ada, then you can buy it for the same price.
uhhh i would honestly just say start over completely. trust me i had to start over on this game too but hey it was worth it and i got the typewriter and infinite rocket in just a week and a half

You can play as Ada in a mode you unlock after you finish the game, and you can play as Wesker in another mode that im not sure how you unlock.
yes you play ada in seperate ways and ada's assignment after you beat the game thats also how you get the chicago typerighter and the rocket launcher
