I just saw an interview that Laurie Miller did while I was going down the Expose rabbit hole fondly remembering my late teen years. Some of the comments on that video regarding the original members of Expose being the "true" or "only" Expose is such a HUGE disservice to Jeanette, Ann and Goia. So they weren't the first but because of their talent and their persistence and their hard work they are the ones who took the Expose brand to levels far beyond the first iteration and have been doing so for more than 35 years. Jeanette, Ann and Goia (with a shoutout to Kelly Moneymaker) ARE Expose.
@veganhigler6541 she was the replacement for Goia when she lost her voice due to a benign tumor on one of her vocal cords. Sandra was my mom's cousin & I grew up listening to her music. She reconnected with the family when her father, my grandmother's brother passed the Christmas before she did. She was so close to him & would call my grandma every few weeks to check in & ask about stories. I remember I picked up the phone once & had a brief conversation with her right before she passed away & she knew I had dreams to become an actress, I was 16 at the time & she told me to keep pushing & never let the industry turn me into something I wasn't. It stuck with me although I didn't end up getting into acting it meant a lot. Watching this actually brought more feels than I thought it would.

I saw them in concert in the mid-2000. Amazing! One could tell they enjoyed performing in front of an audience and performing together on stage. Gotta say it was one of the best shows I've seen. 👍

I love 💕 Expose and met Jeanette a few years back in Springfield, MA. She was absolutely beautiful and very nice. Good people... One of my favorite groups of all time.
What happened to Sweet Sensation?! They beat out one of Mariah Carey's famous hits at the top #1 spot on Billboard Hot 100 and then after that they vanished. I often wonder about male group Nu Flavor as well...
The radio released-singles would often be re-edited and slightly remixed, so I had to buy those too. I still have the cassingles of "Let Me Be The One", "Seasons Change", "When I Looked at Him," and "Tell Me Why."
Loved Expose' and music from that time period!! New York Hit Tracks and Friday Night Videos!! I was in Sourhern University Marching Band at the time.. and we actually played "Come Go With Me" for a halftime show!!
Their third album was fire, and probably slightly ahead of it's time. It was actually radio dropping a lot of pop music for grunge and rap, as well as Clive's insistence that Expose be more like Wilson Phillips that derailed them and several pop artists--including Wilson Philips. Instead of releasing hard bops like "Angel," "Face to Face," "I Think I'm in Trouble," or "I Specialize In Love," they released mostly ballads which were Adult Contemporary hits, but not played on Top-40 stations.
I wrote this on their page for "Let Me Be The One" and I'll say it again. The reason Exposé was so dope was because they had three legitimate lead singers in their group. It made their sound versatile in a way others didn't have. Jeannette could do the up tempo stuff and the ballads, Gioia had that powerful voice that let itself to more of an R&B sound and Ann could do pop stuff. So when you think of their best stuff, it's literally a matter of preference what you liked because they had so much in their catalog.
Man, I loved Expose' !! "Season's Change" and "Let Me Be The One" were my jams and still are to this day. Thank for this upload. I've always wondered what happened to them.

Thanks for sharing & sorry for your loss.
The long version of "Exposed to Love"!! The energy on that song was incredible, and I played it over and over! Great group. I love so many of their songs!💖💖💖
Yes! My all time favorite from them! I still play it regularly on my Spotify
Yes
Great vocals on that song and the guitar killer
👍Yup! that’s my 🎵 song!!☺️🎯💯👍
Finally someone has done a short video on behind the scenes type on freestyle artist. Till this day this underground music genre continues on with the old school artist as well new school artist release new music. But anyway great video, if I'm not mistaken The Cover Girls were the first freestyle female group to come out. All the others came out afterwards. Again great video, I have seen every video that you have put out awesome work. Looking forward to next.
I was a kid in the 80s and this group was HUGE back in the day. You couldn’t turn on radio without hearing them every hour. I didn’t know that they were the second iteration of the group.
I’m glad their doing fine ... I enjoy their music growing up
I've been a fan of Expose for decades! I saw them back in '87 on their Exposure tour. It was one of the first concerts I ever attended. I had no idea that they were the second iteration of the group.
Let me be the one is my favorite. Nothing could be more 80’s.
I saw them in concert in the mid-2000. Amazing! One could tell they enjoyed performing in front of an audience and performing together on stage. Gotta say it was one of the best shows I've seen. 👍
Come Go With Me
Let Me Be The One
Exposed to Love
Point of No Return
Seasons Change
Man that was an awesome few years!
Some how I was part of this beautiful time machine, 1987 till now missing these amazing girls, Come go with 🤗
Fascinating, never knew there were three girls before the late 80's lineup. I saw their concert in Melbourne, FL in '89. It was excellent!
"only you can make me feel this waaaaaayyyy .. i give you mo, come on, let's get awaaaaaaayyyy .. there's nothing there will never ever paaaaaayyy .. i give you mo and mo, so .. "
I love 💕 Expose and met Jeanette a few years back in Springfield, MA. She was absolutely beautiful and very nice. Good people... One of my favorite groups of all time.
"Let me be the one".. One of the best pop songs ever! 😎
The production for "Come Go With me" & "Point Of No Return" is flawless. Dope. I still blast them both. Loudly.
What happened to Sweet Sensation?! They beat out one of Mariah Carey's famous hits at the top #1 spot on Billboard Hot 100 and then after that they vanished. I often wonder about male group Nu Flavor as well...
I am glad Expose is back. They give me de ja vu back to my early youth when I hear their music.
This was my favorite group growing up. I am an 80’s girl!!
One of my favorite groups of all time. Still inspiring music in 2021
BAAAABEY WHEN I TELL U THESE GIRLS SANG THEY ASSES OFF!!
Sadly Gioia blaming herself for Expose'
Not going further do to her loss of voice.... Expose' will forever be one "FREESTYLE GIRL BAND OF MY HEART"
I still have three of their albums. I got to see them in concert , they were awesome. They're really beautiful ladies. ❤️🙏✌️😎
Let Me Be The One, Seasons Change, and I’ll Never Get Over You are still on my playlist.
So when you think of their best stuff, it's literally a matter of preference what you liked because they had so much in their catalog.
your name is a joke! its corny! it's not funny! it's sad! You have to be more of a person that that.....another pathetic youtuber .....
Louis Martinee is what made them dope
👍THISSS!!!🎯💯☺️👍
A story on rap trio Three Times Dope would be very interesting
🧡🤞
I always wondered how they went from “point of no return” to “I’ll never get over you” type of music. Now I know, thanks
Johnny o cynthia Judy Torres and my all time favorite sa-fire please
Growing up in East LA, we sure got a lot of exposure to this type of music at home parties!
Man, I loved Expose' !! "Season's Change" and "Let Me Be The One" were my jams and still are to this day. Thank for this upload. I've always wondered what happened to them.
A story on girl group Boy Krazy who is best known for their hit That's What Love Can Do would be very interesting
Heard that song in a department store at the mall. The memories of me being a 90s kid came flooding back
Great song
Can’t wait to hear the stories about Tony! Toni! Tonè! and Teena Marie. But this was good video and very interesting too.
You can find stories on those 2 on Tvone, 'Unsung '.
I remember this group.
There dace songs filled the dance floors of the 80s.
Brilliant girl band.
I love the 80s.
Wow, I had no idea. Off to Spotify to check their latest...
