Chef, according to my cardiologist, Olive Oil should not be used for frying, because if it is exposed to heat, it becomes a source of bad cholesterol. The best oil daw for cooking is Canola Oil. Olive oil daw should be used as dressing lang
I think what he did was fine, but DEEP frying it with olive oil and using it for more than let’s say an hour, now that is wrong. Just remember that olive oil should not be re-used nor be used for a long period of time. Olive oil is good if used correctly. 😊
