Alison here in Northern Irreland - As you know i collected old postcards and photograph postcards etc for over 40 years and when a few years ago I decided it was time to let them go I sent them all to you. I couldnt bear the thought of my family putting them all in the trash when l go so at least with you l know they won't end up in a dumpster xxx
Yes, I still enjoy looking at the photographs you sent me 🙂 All of the photos here were acquired from auctions, so lucky for me this family enjoyed buying photographs like I do!
After seeing your sweatshirt, made a nice cup of coffee, and watched your video. 😎 Now I can't get that wonderful song out of my head!😮 🎵Oh, every time I go to town The boys keep kickin' my dog around Makes no difference if he's a hound You gotta quit kickin' my dog around 🎵
I just finished my iced coffee! Maybe one day I’ll get into the hot coffee drinking life, but it’s still tea for me ☕️ I think that was the only piece of sheet music we found, unless there’s some hiding out in the one room that’s left for us to pack up! Hope that you are having a great weekend, Buzz!
My dear sweet Renee. This was one fun video. Tony is funny and a wonderful friend. I am so glad you found some great stuff. Tony found some amazing stuff as well. And Taco Stack's was their too. Hope you all find more amazing stuff soon. God Bless you Renee. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. 🤗🤗❤️❤️👍👍👍👍💕💗💜💙💖🌧️☔🌧️It has been raining 🌧️☔here all day. ❤️👍🤗
We filled up Tony & Taco’s vans! Lots of research to do and selling at the flea market, which will be happening tomorrow. The weather has cleared so hopefully it will be a good day! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
The family photos always make me sad. I would kill to have some of my grandmother's old photos of our family. Looks like a lot of cool items. I love Scottie Dog stuff!
The Scotty dogs were so cute! One of the reasons why I love Douglass Fudge at the Jersey shore - their mascot is is a Scotty dog! They have such cute merchandise with the Scotty on it!
This place is loaded with all kinds of antique items and pieces..😍😮 Love the bell that Taco had in the video also wood boxes and crate's too..🎉🤗 Very cool seeing all this vintage goodness..❤ Take care guys..👍❤🔥👊
What a great haul! I love the old photos. And I know it’s been awhile since it’s been a topic of conversation on here, but the longer hair is looking great ❤

New fan of your you tube channel. You are honestly exactly like I felt on Christmas morning as a child, grinning from ear to ear when you unpack your treasures.
Always enjoy watching your adventures. My friend drove us to a Goodwill and a thrift shop in an upscale area. Much better merchandise. Near Chicago. Tina, Al's wife
Always an advantage to get a selective pick, if the prices are right. 5:33 The book "Das deutsche Lichtbild / Jahresschau 1936" was a pretty neat one, highly recommendable for all enthusiasts of old photography. Can´t wait to take a closer look at the results of your recent purchases, especially the photographs. 😉 Did you get a hair cut recently, by the way ? 🤔 Have a wonderful weekend, and see you on the next one ! 🖐Greets from GER, U.
I did get it cut! Just a few inches off to clean it up a bit. A $15 price tag on that book, not a bad price for whenever it was purchased. Quite a different pick than what we are used to, knowing that every item really has good quality and/or is sellable. Of course I still get excited & forget my filming needs for a video, but I can’t help it. (I’ll become a pro camera operator one day, perhaps!) It also felt really hectic for me, as we were just trying to pack up whatever we could as quick as we could. We’ll have time to do sorting & go through things a bit more thoroughly at home/in storage. Hope that you have a great weekend! Rain here now, but tomorrow is looking like a great flea market day!
@@PaperandMooseKudos to your local barber, he did a great job ! 👌Sometimes a trim haircut is necessary to avoid split ends. And I think I found a very special photo album with some Munich topics for you, we shall see...😉
This is DEFINITELY a Renee DREAM come true!!! Ya know I gotta find me a friend like Tony to be able to help doing those kind of jobs! Renee where do I get a Tony? 😉
It won't stop raining here on the weekends so I haven't been picking 😢 But the rain can't last forever and it just means there will be a bunch of sales when it finally stops 🙌
Nice to see you enjoying yourself and having fun fun fun 😊 Did you get the German 1936 year book in pictures? That would very interesting 😊 Look forward to the follow up video
Looking at all that stuff - holy cow - what a tremendous pick! Hard to take it all in. As you probably know, those farm / dinner bells like that one at ~4:33 seem really popular now. I found one a couple of years ago which I thought I might resell but ended up keeping. Too much fun ringing it to let it go to somebody else. But the pièce de résistance: that box of photos (and the other bag) - wow! I don't know how many others would enjoy it, but I would surely sit through a "reveal" of what's in there, if you were so inclined. Out of interest I looked up that Quakertown Silk Mill and could find only one sentence online. I bet you've already thought of this, but since you are local, might make great HbTP about something (seemingly) not well documented. Just a thought. Disaster sells! 😁. Can't wait to see more of this house. Have a great day despite the rain! Hope you get to the FM tomorrow and find fantastic things (or make a mint selling)!
“Disaster Sells!” Sad, but very true! Thanks for the heads up on the Mill. I haven’t looked into it yet, but Quakertown isn’t that far from my area & there are some thrift shops in the town, so could make a day of it! I felt bad that I didn’t record more, but during the packing I felt so overwhelmed by everything that my nerves took over. A box of cast iron figures here, box of photos there, a box of antique cameras on another table, shelves of artwork…. So much collected over time! I wonder how many hours were put in at the auctions buying all of the pieces, since that’s where the majority of these items came from. They certainly had great taste! Rain here today, but we are headed to the market tomorrow to do some selling & see if there’s anything we’d like to buy as well, or at least see what other sellers have brought. With the washed out day today, I’m thinking (hoping!) it will be a packed today tomorrow. Hope that your weekend is going well!
OHHHHHHHHHH all the bear and moose pieces...be still my heart ...our entire house except for kitchen...since you can see all the chickens and ducks out the windows
What a good opportunity! But how do they decide what to charge you? By the box, room or van full? I need to go through my Mom’s old photos. But first I have to clean out my craft/office in order to get to them!
Renee. Tganks for your time and video. Could you clarify , for some one newer.... how this particular procedure works. Assume in this case.
