Another great video, Joey. Good to see you back. Keep on posting. I love the video where you talk about sitting in the outhouse with your feet up against the door and watching the grizzly's shadow move past in the moonlight. Awesome storytelling.
Joey thank you so much for continuing to load more of your videos. No doubt I will watch every one of them, probably more than once. You are priceless and inimitable!
My best friend and I did this Hellroaring Loop in 1998 and crazy to see how it’s changed. Glad to see some new vids from you Joey. Keep on keeping on brother from another mother
Thanks for the voyeuristic trip! While I sit in the cold, damp Pacific Northwest, and dream of summer, you videos help me plan my backpacking season! Thanks for the stoke!
I would love to see a t-shirt with the words "Keep Squatching" on it. It would be a picture of a Squatch hiking with a beer in his hand and a stick with bundle over his left shoulder. Great vid as always Joey.
That was quite an amazing trip. You make it look easy! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see areas that I will never get to see in person. It's beautiful! I am glad that I found your channel recently! You are very good at what you do. Thanks for sharing the details - the maps, the permits needed, the food you bring etc. There is a lot that goes into all the hiking, camping and recording it all. It is much appreciated!
I just love your videos but my favorites are those with Cat. I’ve been following Cat for a couple of years but today I went back and watched one of her videos from 6 yrs ago. Surprised to see and learn that back then you and Cat were an item! I love you two together whether it’s as a couple or as besties! Keep up your videos!
I lived in West Yellowstone for a season in '23. Never got to go into the back country but always wanted to. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with the rest of us.
A perfect adventure with lots of beauty, wildlife and relaxing travel miles. This would have been a perfect hike for Cat to hike with you. Such a gift to see the bison 🦬

I’m so happy you’re back! You have been sorely missed If you’re taking video upload requests, could I request your Grand Canyon hike that you did with those other guys, where you rafted a section of the river?
Very cool. I tried to do a similar hike going the opposite direction a year or two ago. Backcountry office said Cottonwood Creek wasn’t passable so I had to cut it short.
The highlight of my backpacking trips 50 years ago was the scenery, the wildlife, the fishing, and the dinners. The first half, you more than got right... brewskis on the trail, is pure genius.

Hello Joey, I watch your videos daily. Have you ever seen any Mt. Lion tracks? Thankyou, Dan in Ohio
Joe, you need better glasses from Zenni. Low cost out of China and they make millions of them. Glad to see you out there again!
I remember riding a horse and taking a whole string of pack mules across those suspension bridges. They would really start vibrating. Kind of creepy.
Great job, amazing views! How many miles a day did you guys walk?
@43:13 . . Wild animals will hit Bob's tent first 😅
Hey, Bob is cool, of course so is Joey 😊
can you drink the water of the creek?
Joey, do you have a P.O. Box? Would like to send you some food!
