Your work is the gold standard in the silent hiking genre. Thanks for another remarkable film. So glad that you visited the great state of Washington and enjoyed one of our most spectacular trails.
Who’s watching this in bed? These peaceful nature moments are exactly what I love. I've often gone out with my camera to capture that quiet forest atmosphere - there's something really special about it.
Remember if you’re able all human beings need to be out in mother nature 2 to 3 times a week people that are feeling emotional distress or depression should be out 4 to 5 days a week minimum an hour I’m out 2 to 3 hours a day five days a week I’m blessed to be able to do that. God bless to everyone.
Stunning scenery and adventure it is almost as if we are hiking with you. People who never set foot in out National parks and BLM land are short changing their lives. Keep on hiking and we will keep on watching. Thank you.
We support your content and your work Harmen. Amazing film once again. Love the contrast of forest trees and sun breaking through. Specially as you walk the trails. Hope to see you and Trovatrip friends in 2025.
Harmen - cannot thank you enough for sharing these adventures . For my own selfish reasons , I wish you years of health and wealth so that I can continue to enjoy watching your channel .
So fun to see this as the Park is right in my backyard. Have done the full loop five times and am looking forward to more trips around the mountain. Your video does the beauty of the mountain justice!
Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. Good biblical text at the end 🙏👏
This is as good as it gets with hiking guys, its incredible the amount of time it takes to capture these shots and to have the skills to masterfully package the film in such an cinematically aesthetic fashion.
Laying in bed watching this unbelievably beautiful nature and the listening to the calming music, brings my stress levels and heart rate down immediately! Mesmerizing, thank you Harmen !
Cudowny❤ fenomenalny ❤️ niesamowity film ❤️ rewelacyjne długie kadry ❤️ wszystkie Twoje filmy oglądaliśmy wiele razy 🤩 piękne!!! Zapraszamy do Polski, Tatry Mountain 🤗 Któż jak Bóg!
Harmen, you are simply the best in landscape filming! 🤩🤩There is nothing comparable to your videos on UA-cam or elsewhere! Thanks for sharing your masterpieces here for free! 👍👍
Wow wat prachtig weer allemaal Harmen! Fijn dat we met je mee mogen kijken, ik zou op veel die plekken anders nooit kunnen komen (hoogtevrees 😱😁) dus: dank!😍👌
I remember the first time I waded through a Mt Rainier glacial stream, milky with silt. The water was ice cold. By the time I got to the other side, I couldn't feel my feet. Thanks for bringing back fond memories.
Washingtonian here. Super excited to see you do a video on this trail! Would love to do it too someday -- Rainier is a hop and a skip away from us and it's so beautiful. Also, God bless you, thank you for the verse. Remembering that God is our Creator and made all of this is so important. Thank you!
Impressed you did the whole trail in just 6 days! With that much elevation gain and loss and mileage and still taking awesome pictures. Brings back fond memories.
I wast here last year in mid september. It is a stunning park, you can't get bored of the Mount Rainier views. On one hike, I saw some mountain goats below the pass I was at, and by going down I managed to catch them up, there were a dozen of them and they were really chilled. I observed them for a good 20 min. I also saw a Cascade Red Fox, crossing the path, and I was as shocked as the rangers near me coz he just passed us by like he was a friendly dog or something. This subspecies of fox is extremely rare, about a hundred are left. Finally, Mount Rainier has also gorgeous old growth forest, and easily accessible. If you go outside july/august and the week end, it's amazing. Because otherwise, it's so close to the Seattle/Tocoma urban area, that it can be very crowded. I stayed at 3 locations around the park to visit a little bit of everything, and I prefered the Packwood area as a base. It takes longer to reach the park than Longmire, but you have more shops and it's more secluded, less expensive as well. The worst is the Buckley area, couldn't believe there were traffic jams here, and it's a city like so many in the US: parking lot after parking lot and fast food, supermarkets, ugly motels. The alpine scenery in the US is quite similar to Europe, except it's wilder to less accessible. As a reward, you have a lot more wildlife, and they're less fearful of humans.
Harmen, I live in Alaska and am fortunate to be able to fly and hike all over the mountains here, so I'm not easily impressed. But I am very impressed! Your videos are exceptional and the best I have watched on UA-cam!! The scenic shots are epic! My hope is that your channel will continue to grow. Blessing on you!
It's sooo refreshing, just watching your trail unfold. The scenery ( in all of your stories) is blissful. Equally important is the lack of dialogue, so much more enjoyable than the diatribe some dish out, and revel in the sound of their own voice.
Another outstanding hiking video Harmen. The cinematography is superior , capturing the smallest detail. Closing your video with photos at the end is perfect. Keep on hiking Harmen , your work is greatly appreciated.
Every hiking video you've made so far is a work of art and I thoroughly enjoy all of them! This channel has been an escape for me from the hectic and often distressing world. Thank you so much, sir!
A holiday! Your films are a holiday for me! Thank you very much. Simply a masterpiece. Flowers, mountains, animals, so diverse. What do you feel when you see all this beauty in real life?
I feel the weight of my backpack, the tiredness in my legs from walking all day, the sweat and dirt on my body and the craving for fresh food. It's definitely not all flowers and sunshine, but all this makes the experience so much more real. I love every second of it!
@@HarmenHoek Thank you. Of course I haven't done such treks, but I've done short ones, for two days. I'm very happy for you, I've already written to you, in my next life I want to be like you, to walk alone in the mountains and admire nature in person. I can't do it now, but watching your treks is a real treat for me. Once again, thank you very much and I'm happy that I can see your films.
@@HarmenHoek your films are great and you curate it to look very pleasant and beautiful. But maybe you can include more of the tough elements. I know that may be difficult without dialogue, but these hikes would be tough on the body and it would be good to see the struggle and the discomfort you go through.
Beautiful! I’ve dabbled briefly in video taping myself hiking and it’s more work than people realize. Back tracking etc . I loved the mixture of music mixed with nature. Very well done!!
Mr Houk is gifted with the ability to seam the big picture with the minutia is what I find the most entertaining of all. Blessed is he who can see both of me and far. Oh, and I just added a bucket list item for me and my dog.
The sunset pictures at the end were amazing! Especially the one where the flower seemed to be glowing! Just wow! Another beautiful video. Thank you Harmon and Merry Christmas!
Oh I loved it! I think that in general the wilderness areas in the US are excellent and that the permit system works really well. I sure prefer wild camping over established campsites, but the trail is just so gorgeous all the way around!
Many thanks for sharing your adventures Harmen. Your films truly are pieces of art. Solo hiking in total connection with nature. It’s an inspiration to me. I discovered your channel with an epic trail in Picos de Europa here in Spain. Can’t wait for the next film
The best channel on UA-cam by far.
kraig adams slightly better to me
@infinitetrex1127 I'll check him out. Cheers!. 😉
@@infinitetrex1127 Harmen Hoek is in a class of its own. In terms of stunning imagery and overall video compilation, there is nothing out there by far

Loving your cinematography, pacing, and sound design. You're really putting on a master class of filmmaking here.

A shot every 4 sec=2220 shots, all of themm beautiful. Amazing. Music just right.
Thanks (:
The work that goes into some of these shots is insane.
100%
I look forward to each and every film 📽️ that you produce...This one is once again a masterpiece ✨

Just magnificent, thank you Harmen👌🏻
Those sunrises and sunsets are soul touching!
Looking forward to your next adventure.
Delightful! Recognized some spots on the northwest side of the mountain - my old stomping grounds. Triggered the biggest smiles of my day!
Glad to hear so! Definitely some of the most stunning views I've seen on that side.

Really Wonderland! Beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤
I was raised in the Yakima Valley with Mt Adams always in the distance. ... Brings back good memories.
34:15 the closeup of the river flowing over a falls framed by the sunlit trees is the most magnificent shot in the entire video. Bravo!
