Feel bad for New York City Firefighters: not only is NYC a hotspot, without the pandemic, drivers do not let them by and force them to use the airhorns so often.
For real at first he was stopped like he was yielding and then pulls out in front of it and it looked like he almost wanted to stop in its path while looking right at it the whole time
@@PeterALoch They don't have to. A dash camera records the licence plate and a whole lot more. No looking for pens and notebooks. Just press a button to upload the footage to the cloud and onto the police department computer dept. Just a couple of seconds of the fire crews time with the fire trucks crew commander computer. They don't really have to think about it even.
I realize that the toughest part of any firefighter’s job is attacking a fire and not really knowing the hidden challenges and dangers inherent with the awesome tasks. But, I want to also express my appreciation for the FDNY firefighters who operate the rigs through nightmarish traffic conditions and somehow manage to get personnel and equipment where needed.
Fdny your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds keep them safe out there job well done you should be proud appreciate you guys thanks Joe
A BIG thank you to NYFD thankless work for Drivers of the Rigs that have to watch all corners of those beasts. Gliding through to help the people in the BIG city of NYC.
Amazing! All these units for several incidents all in the same area. Almost as good as your 40 minute response compilation video! The Rescue 1, Squad 18 & 2nd Piece one.
All these response unit and no one seems to be looking up to see what is happening. I would be concerned because it is familiar to the 9/11 attacks. You also see no police, no diversion of clearing the area for safety! I so much have respect for these responders and what they do! I worked EMS for many years and we did not have the intense calls that FDNY encounters. God bless them all! Just seeing this brings back so many memories ♥️🇺🇸🙏💙🇺🇲
This video was posted a week ago but the footage is from September 2019!!! Pay attention...There is no traffic like that now in NYC & NO ONE in that video is social distancing!
Tyler I have always wondered the same thing. I think when thay spec. A rig it is all the same and that $2000 add on the bean counters don't spec. It in.thay probably also have noise police at city Hall who say thay are to LOUD.
This had to be another time. There's no social distancing, no one wearing a mask, and if FDNY had that much trouble getting through traffic, last time I checked, the streets looked like a ghost town.
The people in the cars ignore the sirens. The fire fighter trucks and Equipment can not go around the cars. They do not stop or pull over if they can to let them by. The one cab just kept on crossing the intersection with out yield the right of way for the fire engine. It is to bad people are so ignorance when comes of not heeding the horn blowing and sirens.
What those fire trucks need are some Nathan 5 trumpet train horns like they use on BNSF trains out west. I sit here and look in disbelief that not one person in NYC knows what flashing lights, siren, and air horns are for. Not one single person yields right-of-way to emergency vehicles. What NYC needs is to do like other major cities have done and stripe off one lane in all directions for emergency vehicle use only. All civilian vehicles caught and ticketed for being in emergency lane should pay a $2,000 fine.
I never thought I would see video footage of New Yorkers yielding to an emergency vehicle. Are they finally getting fined heavily for such behavior or CV19 is scaring everyone to hide in their appartments.
@@DaciaProject dude this is not 9 years ago tf you talking about 😂. That Chiefs unit at 3:15 is a 2020 model. And Rescue 1 Ferrera built they got in 2012. This is a new video.
Those are so much cooler than ones lost in 2001. Rip to those and the emergency personnel. And office and plane victims. Guess will never know if it was a planned explosion attack by our government of then. But it was a missile that went into the Pentagon.

joseph bolcome this was clearly filmed before the pandemic. The streets are now empty
@@larlinful... joseph bolcome did not see all the people
@@larlinful I hope it at least makes things easier on the FDNY. Amazing how many stupid, self absorbed people only care about themselves.

They need to take that cabbie's license away at 2:25, looks right at L35 & still pulls out
For real at first he was stopped like he was yielding and then pulls out in front of it and it looked like he almost wanted to stop in its path while looking right at it the whole time
Spot on, you couldn't pay me to drive in any of those big cities
too bad fire fighters don't have time time to right down cabbie's number to report them

Lay on the horn till his stupid windows bust out...
The first responders are probably amazed at how fast they get to a scene right now compared to back then.

the stupid cabby who just sat there as ladder 35 is responding with full lights and siren blaring needs a huge ticket at lwast a couple g
james cox Probably from another country. I will say there’s not a lot of maneuvering room for the cabs
They should put cameras on these trucks and ticket the cabbies who do not pull over.

Good to see a new upload.
Awesome picture quality and very great camerawork!!
Kinda funny how nobody yields the right away to emergency personal.
You mean personnel?

Excellent point. You made me think. Then I got the ""O"" moment.
Ah the garage fire below grade. Was a pretty hefty smoke condition down there, I took a feed for awhile.
Fantastic video. These American Emergency Services Vehicles are Awesome.
Sehr cool. Einen Monat später war ich auch da. New York ist eine coole Stadt. Sehr coole Aufnahmen
Rescue still aint having it with traffic
It must be a nightmare trying to turnout in all that traffic.
Look at the difference on how the drivers reacted to the mechanical Q vs the Electrical Q
Very nice trucks and Videos man
3 fires at the same time, no way! And some how Rescue 3 found a way to roll in each of them!
My fav FDNY Truck is the Engine 65
Firefighters truck sound it’s like a music to me. I ❤️NY. They are heroes 🦸♂️
Epic video! Also nice job on the RESCUE 1 it is my favorite
Good lord those air tanks must be empty having to constantly lay on the horn like that
Very nice video.
Awesome stuff here. Thanks for sharing with us!
Fantastic video!
That truck's really honking up a storm.
If rescue 1 keeps blasting that horn it’s not gonna have a horn to blast
get those rigs the real q siren...let them stand on that and stop abusing the horn. they will sound epic with real q! nice catches btw.

Saddly, their doing the opposite.
They stopped with real Q’s awhile back because of “noise complaints” unfortunately.. I think there’s a few trucks that do have them tho.
Great catches! Thanks for posting!
Love the fire rescue TRUCKS and fire Van's

0:52 brought in a tiller/ hook & ladder
Evoc for fdny must be super hard in order to be able to respond in a conjested nyc street my gawwd smh
Cannot believe @ 2.30 the taxi with the N26 hat on the roof looks straight at Ladder 35 and still goes in front of it. What gives?
If that's traffic during a lockdown and stay home I would hate to see traffic during a normal Rush Hour
I like the rigs, but at 04:59 is nice
I still don't get the red flashing lights. I mean... Use blue?! Nothing else in the traffic have blue.
Was Those the firenan That was went to the world Trade center on 9/11?
A H same department, yes. Probably a number of the same guys are still working there today.
They’ve really got to get some smaller vehicles.

Nope. So glad I'm not a firefighter in a big city. I'll stick to a smaller city, I'd lose my shit trying to drive in that crap.
