Was anyone else getting anxiety when the museum guy was pointing at the fetus remains with the tweezers? He could have easily slipped and damaged them. They showed clear signs of damage since Howard Carters photos in the 1920s.

He's a professional. Because they were improperly stored back then - they were found abandoned in an old hospital storage room - they degenerated from environmental exposure and insect infestation. That is why today any body unearthed would be whisked away for preservation before any studies were done. Once completed they are stored in a manner consistent with maintaining them.
A lot of environmental damage to ancient artifacts comes from exposure to the air which is full of pollution. Humidity and sulphur compounds etc. from fossil fuel use such as coal burning and gasoline fill the air with contaminants which can quickly turn something buried for millennia in a tomb into dust upon being unearthed unless it is quickly treated.

To truly understand the 18th Dynasty, it is necessary to get the DAnA from Ahmose and Amenhotep I Ahmose is credited with tye reunification of upper and lower Egypt and ending the Middle Kingdom after he. Inherited the throne from his brother Kamose.
It is likely that the Mose family was related to the Hotep family of Upper Egypt and there was a union to reunify the country. And part of their agreement was to pass on both family names as after Amenhotep I was Thutmoses I. In total, there were four Thutmoses, and four Amenhoteps with Hapsetshut in between and Amenhotep changing his name to Akhenaten with Tutankhaten as his son.
The practice of procreation between a royal brother and sister, was in honor of the central religious myth. Of Osiris and his sister Isis. It was also the practice of nepotism to have a relation as the grand Vizier. The nature of DNA mutations regarding reenforcement of dominant and recessive genes is higher in inbred circumstances, siblings and first cousins. And while a Pharaoh would have more than wife they would still be of the family stock. Female offspring would first be held for future generative stock while an male that would not inherit, might even become a priest. As would other distant relations. This was an attempt to unify the temples with the monarchy.

It is not necessary to believe that the fetuses were the only hope for the Dynasty. Had Tutankhamen not had a hunting accident, the evidence of which is shown in the photo of the chariots in the annex of Tutankhamen’s tomb. The photo clearly shows the top chariot with a broken axle and broken floor. And there is a broken wheel shown behind the other wheels. While a horse has the strength to snap a lead pole, to break a wheel and axle would require greater strength such as could occur with a wounded hippopotamus .

Grave robbing, that's their burial place, leave it up to humans to go digging up graves, the only reason they'd dig up graves is greed, stealing the gold and valuables that maybe buried with them. There's a reason we have RIP.

Just wondering how a person can tell a ten year old.....sun disk Aten...is truly in love with his bride? Also a ten year old. A 21st century adult isn't thinking how this is not very disturbing, and probably why the family was at dynasty end? Grown adults are looking at 2 ten year olds and possibly their stillborn, a ten year old having a stillborn? I think ANYTIME A TEN YEAR OLD IS A POSSIBLE MOTHER THE chance of stillborn babies is utterly huge. Why is no one appalled? Been asking a long time.

@@WVgrl59 the wrong answer. You see, the point isn't to use the bible to show bad behavior is normal. To be honest the bible show people destroyed for bad behaviour. So pedophiles have always been, means what? Are you not understanding what I wrote? You're mighty offensive and I'm sure one slated for biblical destruction like Tut, my point.

Don't dare cry, if natural disasters destroy your home , or life. You're nasty to speak such. Had we not had tut's tomb opened, maybe pricilla Presley wouldn't have been handed to Elvis at 14... K...
