LNMC battery is a type of lithium-ion battery. NMC batteries have a cathode made of a combination of nickel, manganese, and cobalt.

Why does it have a fuse as well as a circuit breaker?

Seems like a good idea... the fuse is between the BMS and the cells, if BMS shorts out internally, it protects the cells from a potentially catastrophic event (NMC cells burn viscously). The Ckt breaker protects the overall pack and provides a means to switch the pack off quickly.
