I need to connect a smart home panel, however all of the videos and diagrams have the current transformers on one of two wires. All showing a 200amp circuit.
My house has 4 wires as the 200 amps are spread across the multiple 100amp circuits. No matter what I attach the L1 current transformer to, the system tells me it’s not connected. Any idea how to fix this or what it should be connected to?
I already have a 12 circuit sub-panel installed from my gas generator. Can I wire the HPP to the sub-panel and that would all work?
Regarding the current transformer and the arrows, the narrator and the text say that the arrows should point toward the power source. But it seems like the diagram has the arrows pointing away from the power source. Am I misreading something?
What happens if the smart panel breaks? Will the critical circuits on the subpanel still work?
What about bonding? Does the transfer switch maintain the ground and neutral from the original main panel where it's bonded, or do you need to bond the ground and neutral in the sub panel? 🤔
Sub panels will always have separate ground and neutrals. The tutorial shows it starting at 7:15
Will this work with multiple panels?
With the little that I know about electricity this video seems hella dangerous so much missing safety information
Another horrible auto transfer switch video without details. Since you’re selling this why not do a complete wiring video. Or just build a simple auto transfer system that is pre wired like the Reliance?

I'm wondering the same thing myself, I have a feeling that a specialty panel would be required to integrate with an auto transfer panel for a generator. But I've spent the last couple afternoons looking and haven't found anything. There's not a lot of information on it.
