Hi, Our balcony is every day full of sand and dust, here in Egypt. We don't let our S5 Max vacuum it anymore, because the fine sand ended up in and out the dustbin. Therefore we now mop it only. Do you think the W400 or W450 will suck up dust and sand with the dirty water and really clean our balcony on its own? Greetings from Egypt
Hmmmm it may suck up a small amount of sand and dust, the vacuum part really for liquid spills. You may want to look at a self emptying robot vacuum so you don’t have to touch the dust, maybe the i3+.
@@RobotMasters In the first place: thank you for your prompt reply! The problem with the S5 Max was, that I was afraid the sand would destroy the inner robot. So another vacuuming robot is not really an option. Probably we will still have to mop manually for some time. Anyhow: thank you again.
Very nice to see your video quality improving and your english becomes easier to understand too, better mic too possibly! Great work! I picked up the 450 today together with roborock s7. May return roborock in the end, will see! :)
As long as the doorways are clear and the flooring are flat they can clean room by room if it a small apartment or studio. Larger places will require filling up the water tank and empty the dirty water.
M6 can avoid carpets, but it requires in app customisation. I saw some youtuber showing it, he was also furious it kept going where he didn't want it to. Shinebot W55 is out now too.
Hmmmm from what I tested so far the Roborock S7 is the best at removing stains and covering larger areas. It more expensive than a dedicated mopping robot. Now for mopping only I found the Braava Jet m6 is a good option, for very large areas I recommend breaking up the areas since the robot will need the mopping pad cleaned and or the water tank filled up.
Could you compare Shinebots to iRobot's Scooba? I did a comparison video of all scooba models vs braavas, I wonder how shinebots compare since they're so similar...
I haven’t had the chance to try a Scooba. Their cleaning mechanics look similar. If I recall the Scooba more of a random cleaning pattern where as the iLife does more of a systematic cleaning pattern. So did the Braava or Scooba do better in your opinion?

@@RichardAlain those iLife bots are superior... i had left a tap open.. spilled many liters of water on the floor, like a puddle of 1 meter.. i just ran my w400 over it, and it picked up all of it. In one go!
@@RichardAlain there is no comparison, the rotating mob & the fact that it picks up the dirty water in a separate reservoir elevates it to a whole another level. No other mob can do that, all they do is wipe the floor with the same dirty rag.

If the ishine could return home and clean on schedule these would by far be the best on the market
Yes that true, the closest to the iLife right now the Smart Mi A1
What does the w400 do when it’s finished? Does it just stop in the middle of the floor?
@@Ragin.Official Goes back where it started
What is the best cleaning solution to use on these? nobody ever spends anytime on this and its the most important part.
Im mainly interested in dry stains which is better and by how many percentages better would you say?
The slower the percentage the better it cleans but if you run it less than 10% the battery will drain before it finishes cleaning.
Hi, nice comparison video! Can W450 run also without using app or without internet connection? I would buy it for my elderly parents. Thanks
Yes you can do most of the features of the non WiFi version. If you are not on planning on using the App much get the w400 includes a handheld remote
@@RobotMasters Thank you for fast response. I think of controlling water level can be usefull, can W400 set water level as well via remote?

If you have thicker carpets than the m6 will avoid it. For thinner carpets the yes it requires the app to block it off.
It’s out in the US? I can’t find it

Try starting the robot in a different area of the room. Could be where the robot start from the room. I believe they recommended bottom right corner.
Какой смысл управлять роботом через телефон, если воду надо менять вручную и заряжать тоже самим? Далеко не отойдёшь, чтобы тот нормально работал.

Best performing mopping robots are the Braava Jet m6, iLife w450 and Roborock S7
