it felt like you were giving me a hug when you were talking about how there are so many people who haven't entered my life yet who could become the people closest to me. I don't have a best friend at the moment, just a bunch of acquaintances, so I think that's such a lovely and comforting thought❤
Dating in recovery is the best thing that helped my recovery journey! Being with a normal-headed partner who has one of the best relationships with food, really helped me see the joy and routine of "normal eating". I would say the only "obstacle" that we're still facing as a couple now is my lack of sex drive because my hormones are still recovering from the damage from my ED. But it's quite interesting to see my health improve in so many areas thanks to my relationship.

Speaking on this topic, I just realized that I might avoid relationships and sex as a subconscious means of survival because if I got pregnant, I would not be capable of sustaining the pregnancy. This realization is certainly going to push me to get healthier.
