The French toast is absolutely amazing there. Local enough that we get to eat here a few times a year. I have tried quite a few things, but always get the French toast also. Ill take it home if I prefer the other choice.
You guys cracked me up doing a review of A Pancake Pantry minus the pancakes:). Then the waitress brings you a sample of syrup ,but no pancake! I would have thought they would send over a pancake just because you were filming a review without pancakes in it.
Are there any bathrooms on the first floor? I'm shocked that they haven't remodeled to have the bathrooms on the main floor. It's not very friendly for older people or handicap.
I was not a fan of Pankcake Pantry, definitely didn't live up to the hype for me. I know pankcakes are their "thing" but how u gonna be a breakfast place in the mountains and not have biscuits and gravy on their menu??

My grandmother used to make a peanut butter syrup by mixing peanut butter and light Karo syrup. Put it on toast.

This is why we've never been there. Shame that in 2023 there's still a restaurant in Gatlinburg that does not have accessible bathrooms.

Yes, there is always music playing and it was noisy where we were sitting in the back of the restaurant because they were sorting silverware.
