I just came home from Disneyland, and this ride is just amazing! Disney is amazing for putting this ride together they way they did! Recommend this ride to everybody!
Coming from a Disney the fan, the incredible detail and devotion to the film doesn't surprise me. But the smoothness of the audio-animatronics and there realism is a huge advancement in not only animatronics but robotics in general. I mean right before you get off you can see maters tires gently pop out in a shrugging motion! The eyes are also amazing.
Geez! I ain't a fan of Cars, but they sure went all the way with this. Especially with the animatronic characters. Their movements are so fluid and life like.
How cool! Ramone *and* Flo are in the ride...I went on this back in July, and I got Luigi's both times that I was on it. I also like how Ramone does the Spanish safety spiel :)
wow wow wow, Disney's attention to detail is evident with this ride. It looks amazing and I cant wait take my little one's, they should really enjoy it. Nice video.
I just feel that if it hadn't been for John Lasseter overseeing the creation of Cars Land, this could really have turned out 'cheap-looking.' The interior Dark Ride portion feels like a combination of 'Mr Toad's Wild Ride,' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' and I love that they kept Doc and Paul Newman's voice in the ride after he passed away.
I waited like 20 minutes. Fast pass is the way to go guys! It's amazing how when your in ramones it actually smells like paint when the machine sprays!
That looks absolutely amazing! I may not be a big fan of Cars, but I must admit that the scenery and the ride itself looks...just wow. I can't wait to visit DCA soon to experience all of this.
This is the first time I see a video of this ride where the car goes to Ramone's paint shop. Great job filming this! Can't wait to ride RSR myself when I go back to DL in Dec.
I got a chance to ride this four times now and the videos don't do it justice. It really is a phenomenal ride. Very well done. Perfect mix of dark ride and thrill ride. Essence of a Disney attraction. You have to ride several times to pick everything up. Try to ride at night.... it's even better.
I went on this last Sunday... HO-LY crap!!!I cannot describe how disgustingly AWESOME this ride is!! It looks like they spent everyday of those five years building this ride (let alone the whole land!) Don't worry guys if the ride wait time is four hours, you're going to love this ride still because it will DEFINITELY be worth it! :)
Did you enjoy it? I'm Pretty sure you had a smile on your face from beginning to end. And what did you expect from a 'Disney' theme park they have to fit at least 1 Dark Ride scene in all of their rides or an animitronic.
Thanks! I used a canon camera. It was either that or my iPhone. I had never shot video in low light with my camera so I was surprised by how well it turned out.
Yep they are. The whole ride is getting a major new update. A whole new sponsor, new line, new cars, new RFID experience, etc. No word on if the ride itself will be changed or if the preshow will even change at all though.
It's a storage area for the cars when not in use. Look on any other Disney ride, there are usually spots like this for empty cars, but some are concealed better than others
I waited an hour for RSR but after that the wait died down. I was there for a special preview day so the crowds were limited. I read that they will allow people to line up for Cars Land opening on Thursday night starting at 11pm. I would try and showing up as early as possible. My guess is the wait will be 3 to 4-hours when it opens. I'm sure it will be exciting! I'm going on opening day to have dinner at Carthay Circle Theater. Have fun!
No. We actually live in Colorado and are currently planning/booking a trip for December...pretty much JUST for Carsland. My 4 year old son is so excited to get to ride this!! :)
I know! It's a sight gag, because there's a lot of humor involved with it. Guido is the 1 who wears it. He's Luigi's assistant. Look at the colors which are red, white and green. Italy's country flag along with Christmas colors at Emerald Forest Christmas Trees on Sloat Boulevard and 19th Avenue.
@EELEXIS89 you can also go into Luigi's tire shop. Apparently, it shows projected tires where the tires are supposed to be on the car! But I also went inside Ramone's Paint Shop.
I'm not a big fan of the Cars movies, or what they did to Pixar, but this is really impressive, those AAs are outstanding. Looks like a nice upgrade to the Test Track concept from WDW. Would love to ride this someday, but I havent been to Disneyland in years, too expensive to go..even for a single park for a single day. I mean I got 2 passes to Knott's for less than it would cost to go to Disneyland just once.
This year in May, my parents and I were able to get Ramone's side with some finger crossing and head rubbing on the right side of my head. The smell of the paint didn't bother the 3 of us. We were joined up by another 3rd party of unknown folks which consisted of 2 men and 1 woman. We were the winner of the race and were able to receive a ride photo. My favorite characters from Cars are Lightning McQueen, Red, Fillmore, Flo and Ramone. Who are your favorite characters from Cars? I'm not sick of you. I'm sick of going through Luigi's side for a tire change, because Luigi and Guido aren't my favorite characters from the movie. My mom likes them along with Sally and Doc Hudson. You and your family were in the yellow car. My parents and I were in that one with the party of the 3 who sat in front of us that day in October of this year.
While I think the Cars movies are easily the weakest Pixar films, this does look like a really fun ride. The animatronics and scenery are really stunning, hats off to the guys who put this all together.
I think that one part when Mack comes out of nowhere went off a little too early. Maybe it's because I'm use to Test Track at Disney World. They have the same thing. Other than that this ride must be awesome.I love the animatronics.
I'm going back next Friday for the grand opening and having dinner at Carthay Circle theater restaurant. I'm hoping to go on RSR afterwards at night as I hear its amazing with the lights on. (Although I'm sure the line will hours long. Hopefully the single rider line isn't to long)
I was one of the first in the park on the 15th, the line was 10 minutes -- when I got off, the line was 90 minutes. XD crazy! John Lasseter was in the car in front of me too o-o
I thinks just random. They always switch so you technically have a 50% chance of getting one or the other. The pain shop does change color based on what car you are in though. :)

saw the movie for the first time tonight. honestly, the imagineers were close to perfect with this ride, design-wise
I really like tractor tipping and I like how they included it in the show while you're riding. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree looks awesome to.

Since dark rides are my favorite type of rides, this is kickass. Beautiful animatronics.
Man I remember this in my favorites oh the best memories of my life when I was a baby
Looks AWESOME. A worthy competitor to Universal's Siderman ride!
wow wow wow, Disney's attention to detail is evident with this ride. It looks amazing and I cant wait take my little one's, they should really enjoy it. Nice video.
I didn't realize the dark ride aspect of the ride was that big. Lookin' good.
Great ride, Disney at its finest. Instant Classic and a must ride when you go to Disneyland Resort.
those three hours that I stand there waiting for my turn were worth it lol I loved this ride :)
I LOVE THIS RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i want to go there. so amazing!

Thank you soooo much for sharing! This ride looks so much fun to ride!!

Very impressive! Disney has outdone themselves again.
Even if you don't like the ride, you got to respect those amazing audio-animatronics.
Sweet!! Thanks for posting this! I knew there had to be a POV from the OTHER side. :)
I'm going on Wednesday for a week :D I can't wait to ride this!!!
I'm gonna start saving money so I can go on this! It looks so cool! That's right, i actually love the Cars movies. :P
The best ride I've ever seen ....only wish it was there when I was there ...can't wait to take my kids there
Finally after 3 years of waiting! Is the ride more fun than it looks? The animatronics look amazing!
I was wondering when the rides actually picked upi speed. Looks fun. Can't wait to go this year.
You said exactly what I was thinking. I don't even like Cars and in true Disney fashion I cried at the end of this just because it was so awesome.

Ugh, I can't WAIT. Thanks for this!
Okay, everyone to California. This is amazingly cool!!!
No but I wish I was. I went to Disneyland last year for the first time in my life and I fell in love. I'm going to go back soon hopefully (:
Omg next week I'm going to Disney land!! I can't wait to ride this one!!
this is the best ride video that i've seen on here good job!
this is probably the best video of this ive seen
Best POV vid that i seen today!! And this time i saw whats in the other room with the paint job of the car!!
Thanks!
I used a canon camera. It was either that or my iPhone. I had never shot video in low light with my camera so I was surprised by how well it turned out.
Really Great video quality that you took of this!
Thx for posting this.
They had an early preview day for D23 members, AP's and others. Are you planning to go on Friday? I'd highly recommend it! Cars Land is incredible!!!
Yep they are. The whole ride is getting a major new update. A whole new sponsor, new line, new cars, new RFID experience, etc. No word on if the ride itself will be changed or if the preshow will even change at all though.
It was a 4 hour wait when I went thank god for single rider lines but when we shot out that ride scared the heck out of me
It's a storage area for the cars when not in use. Look on any other Disney ride, there are usually spots like this for empty cars, but some are concealed better than others
I went on this yesterday :) sooo fun... except it was a four hour line :(
this ride is soooooo much fun
I waited an hour for RSR but after that the wait died down. I was there for a special preview day so the crowds were limited.

All the cars characters would look sweet in tron outfits. You're absolutely right.
The tractor farted. LOL! Smoke came out of it. I find it funny.
2:40- me: NO! NO! Don't go into the light
No. We actually live in Colorado and are currently planning/booking a trip for December...pretty much JUST for Carsland. My 4 year old son is so excited to get to ride this!! :)
this ride is so sick
the anamatromics have becom really awsomely advanced after the opening the little mermaid ride :O good job imageneers.....
I'm getting teary :')

I have got to go ride this before my back completely gives out!

WOW!!! Amazing
I waited 4 1/2 hours to go on it but guys its SO worth it in the end the cars are like, RIGHT there talking to you :D
It will, this is a preview of the whole land.
Thank you.
I'm going to disneyland tomorrow. I didn't know it was the cars land opening. I need to get out more.
This year in May, my parents and I were able to get Ramone's side with some finger crossing and head rubbing on the right side of my head. The smell of the paint didn't bother the 3 of us. A quick question: in Ramone's, what do those machines shoot out?
This uses the 3rd Version of the Test Track ride system. It is much better than Test Track I think. I would love to go to DCA one day.
Thanks!
I'm going back next Friday for the grand opening and having dinner at Carthay Circle theater restaurant. I'm hoping to go on RSR afterwards at night as I hear its amazing with the lights on. (Although I'm sure the line will hours long. Hopefully the single rider line isn't to long)
Thanks! I used a Canon camera on video mode
It's just like test track at Epcot. They'll probably update that ride into this one soon.
Flow and Ramone are animations, the rest very impressive animatronics.
I was one of the first in the park on the 15th, the line was 10 minutes -- when I got off, the line was 90 minutes. XD crazy! John Lasseter was in the car in front of me too o-o
ICP was there today riding this ride!
This is cool !!!!!!!!!!
i like the music when you go into Ramone's Paint Shop
Hello Dan!
Great video!! I'm just wondering what you used to shoot it? The exposure quality is phenomenal for a Disney dark ride!
Thanks!
I was smiling during the race.
I was at Disney World not one week ago and test track was closed until fall. Maybe they could be working on updating the ride :D
I thinks just random. They always switch so you technically have a 50% chance of getting one or the other.
The pain shop does change color based on what car you are in though. :)
Looks like a good ride. But Im not sure if I would wait in line for 2 to 3 hours for it.
Thanks
I don't think I could wait in a 3 hour line for this.
"WE WON! ...but really everyone wins because it's a great ride."
I hope this ride eventually goes to Florida.
Everyone in DCA is too drunk to care about how big the rides are and we love it.
Your welcome! The ride's great! Have you had a chance to go on it?
yes it will be.
Lol I'm going next week too. Maybe I'll see you there XD
its like the test track of disney land haha !
thats looks cool
It look so fun
I heard they sped it up for the AP previews.
I went on it at night it's so sick and I went through the single rider line and it was a 30min wait
Oh yeah? You’re gonna get more wind in the race? Okay then I’ll get more than you! LOL 😝
