I can see you are not using the standard EADG tuning. It does make the riff less tiring on the 4th string and gives it a cool sound when making the bridge. Liked your version of it
Saw them live, and ask Brad what was his tuning and he told me "D... for all songs but there are a couple of them that I play in standard E, but thata just me" meaning that carlos and piajio play allnin D. Brad is killing it... his live tone is amazing, the studio recording of the new album does not make justice to the bass Paul recorded...

it was always drop d just move over two frets on the e/d string. the tabs were just wrong and were made on multiple sites.
