Buses at Box Hill during Peak Hour - Melbourne Transport

In this video we see some afternoon peak hour bus action at Box Hill, which serves as a major transport hub in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Box Hill is served by 17 different bus routes operated by Transdev, Ventura and CDC Melbourne.
We see buses around the Box Hill area as they enter and leave the bus interchange. Buses seen include Scania K230UB's, Scania K280UB's, Scania K310UB's, Mercedes Benz O405NH's, Mercedes Benz O500LE's, Volvo B7RLE's, MAN 16.240's, MAN 15.220's and more!

On both the Belgrave and Lilydale Lines as of 2014, the 2 level crossings at Mitcham Road and Rooks Road in Mitcham were removed by lowering the rail line beneath the road into a rail trench with a new Mitcham Station.
And as of 2016 on just the Belgrave Line itself, the 2 level crossings at Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road, in Bayswater were removed by lowering the rail line beneath the roads into rail trenches with a new Bayswater Station.
Then as of 2017, on both the Belgrave and Lilydale Lines, the 2 level crossings at Blackburn Road, Blackburn and Heatherdale Road, Heatherdale were removed by lowering the rail line beneath the roads into rail trenches with a new Heatherdale Station.
Then as of 2021 on just the Lilydale Line itself, the 2 level crossings at Maroondah Highway, Lilydale and Manchester Road, Mooroolbark were removed by building elevated rail bridges over the roads with 2 new elevated stations at Lilydale and Mooroolbark.
Then as of 2023 on both the Belgrave and Lilydale Lines, the 2 level crossings at Mont Albert Road, Mont Albert and Union Road, Surrey Hills were removed by lowering the rail line into a rail trench with a new Union Station.
And now under construction on just the Belgrave Line itself is the Bedford Road, Ringwood level crossing removal which will be removed by 2025 by lowering the rail line beneath the road into a rail trench.
And also under construction on just the Lilydale Line itself are the Dublin Road Ringwood East, the Coolstore Road Croydon and the Cave Hill Road, Lilydale level crossing removals which will be removed by 2025 by closing off the Cave Hill Road level crossing to divert traffic and build a new pedestrian underpass under the rail line, building an elevated rail bridge at Coolstore Road, Croydon with a new elevated Croydon Station and lowering the rail line beneath Dublin Road, Ringwood East with a new Ringwood East Station below ground.

Eww Designline. I never liked them, they feel cheap and nasty inside. Some of the earlier Designline buses are in the process of being withdrawn at the moment.

@@schae5498 I agree zero two, a number of Transdev buses resemble 1980 NYC subway cars, although it has improved somewhat in the last year or so.
