This so reminds me of my family gatherings. I have two sisters and one brother. As young adults we all married and had our children close together. All the cousins loved getting together on holidays. It was so special and I can see that same spirit in your family. Love you Nanny, Merry Christmas.

Another great Vlogmas video! I enjoyed the family getting together, and seeing the new pup, and the other pups, all part of the family. The souffle looks quite impressive. I like the nod to the Monti Cristo sandwich, with the dusting of powdered sugar and jam. Yum! I may have to try making. I like that I can make this recipe in a smaller version.(square pan) Adorable grandbaby grazing on the Christmas tree hors'derve appetizer. Thank you for including all of us distant friends.. I had a great time and I wasn't even really there. Thanks for inviting the rest of us. We have had a very tense day as we have encountered a lot of passwords that no longer work for us. We went in to enter a new card for BJs and found that some things did not finalize and install upon the purchase of a new Iphone. We were able to finalize some insurance/banking payments. What a stressful day, but it is all over for today. We will finish up tomorrow! Interesting , but survivable.

My last year Amaryllis is about two inches high and my this year one is only an inch high. We’re going to Roseville tomorrow and I’ll try to purchase another one. I got these at Trader Joe’s and the ones I gave my daughter and sisters are doing great. I must have gotten a dud. lol

Loved also the souffle recipe. will try it. In the past I would make a quiche Lorraine from scratch, including the pastry dough, But I think I will try your recipe instead this year as it seems to be another winner. Love also the video of you and your daughter Colleen. And just to let you know I ordered from amazon some black Jamaican castor oil (could not find the brand you use),and its wonderful! and also for massaging into achy joints.

What a beautiful family you have! It’s so wonderful that many of you live near each other. Three of our four adult children live across the country from us, so we don’t get to see them very often ( especially since COVID). Watching your family gathering brought back so many great memories. We always make a similar dish for Christmas morning that we call our Christmas strata. I add browned sausage or sometimes just some veggies for a vegetarian version. Thank you, thank you for doing all these videos. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to them. Merry Christmas!

I make that soufflé every year! But I use only a slice of cheese between each “ sandwich” and I bake for 40 min uncovered. I might try your way this year, I was also gifted an amaryllis but with instructions to plant in soil provided and water conservatively. Uh oh?

What a spectacular family party..thank you for sharing…I could almost taste all the yummies! Two things: I noticed the bowl that you were mixing the eggs and milk in had a piece of the enamel missing. I assume it was a metal bowl with the enamel overlay. What I’m getting at is…because of the “chip” (looked like a significant one) the bowl should probably be thrown out. It’s not a safe bowl to use at this point. You know me by now…always looking out for your safety 🫣. I’ll send you a new one…ooops…I don’t have your address 😢! However, I think it should be replaced. I’m like the DANGER POLICE 😬! Secondly…Patrick seems to have calmed down a bit because I see him sitting peacefully on the mantle next to one of your beautiful Santa’s!
