In this video, we discuss kung paano mag-devotion using the SOAP (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) method -- explained in Tagalog / Filipino with example!
Before having purposeful and Christ-centered earthly relationships, the most important relationship we should have is out relationship with Christ! This is so important as we have learned through personal experience.
One of the most important ways to enrich our relationship with the Lord is through reading and meditating on God's Word! Some call it quiet time, some call it personal time with the Lord, some call it devotion. But, no matter what you call it, all that matters is that you are spending time with God and His Word.
There are various ways kung paano mag-devotion (how to do devotion) but in this video, we will talk about how to do devotion (paano mag-devotion) using the SOAP method.

@@aurorakaterina4782 I am using The Bible app. May premade devotion plan sila kay mas madali sya especially for starters. to be very honest, na ooverwhelm parin ako sa method na tinuturo sa video na to kaya yung ginagawa ko nalang is yung reading for that day kinukuha ko yung mga verses that speaks to me tas i reflect from it.

Hello I'm Kenneth, I'm currently 17 yrs old. Thank you for this ate!!! I watched this last-last year 2021. I tried to level-up my faith in God and communicating to him through reading bible, but a lot of things had happened; my father leave us, including his total responsibilities towards me, our life literally falls apart, I experience severe mental breakdowns and even depression and many-many things- recently, I realized that because of those things and many bad things that happened to me and to my family, Instead of being close with God, I grew hating him and even cursed him ( actually I even had fought with my Mom last night ) but today, I want to restart again, I want to bring myself more closer to God, despite many things that are hindering me, despite many things that still constantly happening to us and tempting me to lost my faith in God. Thank you for this Ate, May God bless you and your family, and please pray for me and my family, Currently even though I'm just 17 I am hustling hard just to provide for my education ( I actually stop muna ) and for my mama and our bills. I'm actually doing the butiki method po hehe but I'll pray first to let God lend my hand/fingers to a verse that has the message he wants na maiparating saakin, at maintindihan ko rin iyon by the wisdom from him. Yung husband ko po ay hindi rin sumusunod ng Bible plan -- but he asks for leading kung ano yung babasahin niya everyday, just like you :)
Ang caution lang po siguro is 'wag siya maging parang "raffle" o "roleta" hihihihi! :) And 'wag one verse lang -- kasi need maintindihan yung context nung passage :D
