Ever since I got my 65" Samsung S95C QD OLED I have stopped worrying about brightness. I couldn't imagine needing anything brighter. Colors are unreal. I'm on all the sites trying to buy this 32".
After getting the Sony A95L I’m in the same boat, color accuracy and vibrancy is what I’m looking for brightness is just a bonus. And your gonna love it QD-OLED with 240hz is so freaking good it’s not even funny!

@@jimtepedino9295 and its still not even that bright. mini led smokes OLED in brightness and looks way better for HDR in general. OLED is only good for very dark scenes, Mini LED is so incredible when you have very bright scenes
I had one and couldn’t believe how dark it was. Some maps and games looked awesome but most looked way too dim. It wasn’t horrible but I just couldn’t deal with it coming from the super bright 27UQ
Yeah it’s pretty hit or miss game to game HDR isn’t well implemented on a lot of titles especially on PC. But when a game does a good job with the brightness and peak highlights o my it’s a gorgeous thing!

I bought the last two on amazon the other day so they are on back order with more coming soon. I'm having a weird issue with my 3080 when enabling HDR, it goes to a washed out color and it's difficult to fix. This is even with the 105 firmware. If I roll back to 103 HDR is normal but I don't have dolby vision ( to be expected) . I'm at a loss right now until I get my 4090 this week. I had no issues with my other monitor with HDR but they were 1440p LG ultra gear. Thoughts?
At default the color saturation is very good. These monitors are calibrated very well from factory. When HDR is working after togging between RGB and YCB while hdr is turned on it will sometimes work after the screen flashes but I can't get both monitors to have HDR working properly at the same time. I'm using HDMI cables that came with the monitors and I even used them on the previous monitors and HDR works perfectly. There is just something going on with my 3080 and these monitors only on the 105 firmware update.
Are you running both monitors at 240hz DSC is already pushing the ever living limits out of the cable and bandwidth with just one of these displays. If you have them both set to 240hz that might be your problem, also try using the DP Cables instead.
@@LordCivickOG I am not sure how dsc affects hdmi 2.1. I’m using hdmi 2.1 on both and haven’t tried dp 1.4yet. But that is something I’m going to try later.
It’s a game from the persona series “Persona 3 Reload” is the one you see in the video. I highly highly recommend the series the games are phenomenal! You don’t have to play them in order either they are individual stories!

Manufacturers are nervous on the 1st gen of OLED monitors, they don't want to unleash the full potential for PC users - too many static UI elements. Can't risk a flop on the first generation with people burning in their displays and making lots of bad PR.
Display port 2.1 is like 8k there's just not enough content to even waste your time. Even this monitor being 4k how many games can support 240fps. I still believe 1440p with current hardware is boss.

That’s a bright tv though. The monitors aren’t anywhere near as bright.

fun fact dsc disables dslrr in nvidia control panel. so if u wanna use dslrr u cant simultaneously use display 1.4 w/ dsc or hdmi and dsc.

But that shouldn’t matter since firmware 103 works just fine. If that’s the case then it’s a bug with 105.

It’s not. Peak brightness in 10% windows is 450 nuts which is average at best.
