Ah great to hear the two legends tell us of their adventures . Great achievements from both of them back in the day when times were hard . Good health and happiness to ye .
Hey Glyn! Really love the jolly gab sessions that the Father has with his old running mates. The old stories keep them (& some of us) going and both fit looking happy athletic men who have blessed us with their harrowing tales of long distance running. All those trophies, ribbons and medals were won by determination, talent, fortitude. willpower & pushing themselves to their limits, to achieve their dreams of winning. They are still winners in my book. I can truly relate as I , too, was a long distance runner decades ago, but could not hold a candle to these two mighty men. May the One with all power continue to shine His light upon you and bring you laughter in your memories! And through you, sharing this joy with us. Best to you all❣️🙏👍
Welcome back my friend and as always beautiful sharing adventure documentary countryside content video and you guys bonded so well and doing such an amazing job .. million thanks again and have a wonderful blessing weekend !!
That Cork man who ran against your father in the 70s was so interesting. I could relate to a lot of what he said because I used to do Cross Country running as a young fella when men like this were our hero's. They were tough bits of stuff. Their upbringing taught them one very important lesson, sometimes its not optional, you simply have to roll up your sleeves and do the hard graft. I coach Juvenile Athletics now and you find yourself sometimes tip-toeing around the place trying to get young people to compete in indoor, outdoor never mind cross country. Heaven forbid would they get wet, cold or tired. Because of men like your father and this man, I used to want to do cross country, the colder, the wetter the better. I wanted it to be hard, because if it was hard then it was worthwhile. I also love the banter about how they used to try and get one over on each other and not always within the rules of the sport. What wonderful memories they made.
I needed captions at the bottom. Seemed like a spirited conversation! Your dad couldn’t have slid a word in edgewise with this man lol. Whose house is this anyway? I don’t recognize where it is? That’s a lot of trophies looks like for running? Sorry so many questions! Just love watching y’all’s videos!
Get a green for to cover all the bales had to do it on top of silage pit because of next door neighbour feeding store lambs and the crows the destroyed the cover
I'm from Japan, I've been a big fan of your channel for ages but I find what your father wrote on top of those bales very offensive, and I don't suppose the crows can read Japanese anyhow.
Yr Dad and his friend are so funny, bless them xx

Why stop with the subtitles half way through? It’s like a foreign language to most normal English speakers!!
