- Out of sheer boredom, and perhaps to help a good friend of mine, I decided to face off against Sigma in X7.
His first form is not too difficult, so I suggest just using your ranged Hunter and save your subtanks for the second form.
His second form is a doozy, especially on Hard Mode. In terms of dealing damage, the Explosion, X-Buster, and Sniper Missile are good weapons to use in this fight.

Yeah. My eyes hurt with this guy being a fodder. It's clearly easy to dodge Sigma green bomb that falling from top of him. Using Homing weapon and he just standby like that taking all that hit. This will die from the first boss in all Megaman series from NES and PS 1

Lol. Only thing I really liked about this game was Sigma's boss theme in the first form. I actually never beat this one, it was just... I couldn't stand it xD

***** The second form's theme is an orchestral remix of the first. Look it up, it's called "Conclusion."
If anyone is still having trouble with his second form, choose Zero, press and hold the attack button whenever he starts throwing those energy balls at you. If you do that, Zero will assume (and remain in) that defensive stance and every single one of Sigma's massive energy balls will be thrown right back at him.
It is fool proof and they do major damage, but it only works against his energy balls, the laser and the punches can still f*ck you up.
(I discovered this by accident, don't know how many people out there are aware of this)

Keyword, enough, because despite being rushed, it delivered something that X5 could have delivered but failed.
The only bad thing was the bugs and stuff gets in the way a lot, not to mention the storyline is almost as nonsesnsical as X5.

The 3D playthrough is pretty bad (to say the least)
The boss weapons are mostly useless. Add to.the fact that you have a lock-on, which make them even more useless.
The stages are... Meh...

Several reasons:
1. The awful voice acting with no mouth movements
2. The characters move very slow and clunky
3. The f*cking knock back which leads to lots of cheap deaths.
4. The buster upgrade doesn't upgrade your charge shot
5. The 3d platforming and the camera are an absolute nightmare
6. The dreamcast caliber graphics
7. Because this deserves it's own category: BURN!! BURN TO THE GROUND!! BURN!! BU BURN TO THE GROUND

When you fight sigmas final form and he uses those green balls, use zero's shield attack and the green balls will bounce to sigma
Your X is overpowered, but some of those moves against Colossus Sigma took some serious skill. It's hard enough to beat him without the Gaea Shield or the abusing the sweet spot.
The song when fighting against Sigma 1st sounds really awesome! Too bad it's too soft in relation to the other songs to do anything...

Babz Miah He retired from the front-lines in the interim between X6 and X7 due to his conscience; he had seen too much destruction and lives lost and so he withdrew. However, he's forced to come out of his retirement if you either 1) rescue 64 Reploids before you clear the eight stages, or 2) clear the eight stages altogether. X will then pretty much be available for the final stages.
It's best to rescue the 64 Reploids, but be wary of which ones can give you upgrades; if Zero or Axl take too many of them, that leaves X at a grave disadvantage. To compensate, his charge shot is pretty strong.
You are better without playing x 7
He says "Stop it" because of that annoying boss who won't stop saying "BURN BURN BURN TO THE GROUND BURN" xD

Wow, that final fight against Buzz Lightyear was something else.
Is there any sort of significance to the stages for the final battles? I know the first is a falling elevator even though it doesn't make sense since you end up at the top of the tower in the end. I'm guessing the second form takes place where you originally fought Red since the water-ish stuff at the bottom looks similar. Just my guess though.

It wasn't the best, no, but to bash the entire cast is unfair. The weakest links are clear, but the voice actor for X actually isn't that bad in his other work, I have no idea what he was doing here. Signas sounded dreadful in the intro scenes, but his vocals in the ending scenes are much better, go figure. It was no doubt a pairing of sub-par scripting (some lines are terrible, like Vanishing Gungaroo "getting his snack") and awful voice direction. Nikita Deo seen in the credits should seek other work lol. Keep in mind this game was dubbed in English in Japan, with voice actors currently residing locally in Japan. As a whole, the game didn't have a large budget and was developed with a small production team on a tight deadline. A lot of unfair factors led to X7 being full of potential with effort shown, but ultimately not meeting the mark. It's a shame because I actually enjoyed X7 for what it was and looked beyond its faults.
This is the only x game I've never beaten. I always fall off the platform and die fighting his second form because the depth perception in the game is terrible

+Angus Macgyver I had to use Tornado Tonion's electric tornado ability with Zero on Snipe Anteator since that dealt more damage than Ride Boarski's wheel weapon with X, Zero, or Axl, which did jack shit to him, and that's supposed to be his weakness.
X7 is the worst.
X6 is the easiest. You can literally kill bosses in under 1 second with Zero. SMH.

@ZeroMagamiMZ04 the way it is? I remember reading that X7 was on a strcit deadline as Capcom often likes to push. It's NOT the game's fault. As I said, it may very well have been the voice directors issue because they are the ones that directs and accepts whichever take. Voice actors can only do what they're told. I also feel the script could have been better. That can also hurt vocal performances. As for Hyenard, it's a bad coding linked to his actions which plays the sound files each time.
I'd guess it's because the title is generic enough that anyone looking for "Mega Man" and "final boss battle and ending" finds it. And final boss + ending videos tend to be very popular, most likely because many people don't manage to reach those on their own so they come to youtube.

This guy is easy as heck if you use Zero's defensive stance because it ALWAYS reflects his energy balls! They do a lot of damage to him, A LOT.

@ZeroMagamiMZ04 The only thing I think they should do is not make X playable from the start (as that would effect the flow of the actual story) but decrease the prerequisites needed for him to be unlocked. The sooner the better. The only way I think they'd hire new actors is if they had to with contracts and whatnot. I mean, they didn't even dub X6 in english for the collection as they were going to. Although I do anticipate an HD collection as PART of the 25th. X9, ZX3 and maybe L3 revival. =)

@ZeroMagamiMZ04 Capcom does have a way with fans that's for sure. But aside from using the case as a coaster, I admire the game as whole for its ambitious attempts. Though as stated, due to time restraints and the like, it is sinfully rough and not polished as it should have been. Capcom just fails to care I guess. If they one day release it alongside other games of the generation in an HD collection, Id hope theyd tweak it up a bit. As for the voice acting in 8 and X4, they're in the same boat.
Axl basically is Silver. He's the new guy that tries to fit in with the other 2 heroes but everyone rejects him because he debuted in a shitty game
and i thought Mega Man X4 had bad voice acting. This is just on a whole different level of bad.

To openly address the childish and ridiculous complaints about the voice acting below, I must enlighten those with horribly closed minds that the voice acting isn't that bad. The weakest links of the whole cast are probably X, for the lack of proper expression and Signas, for the sometimes monotonous tone. Although the voices suit the characters, all the voices suit all the characters. In reality, it's likely the script's and/or the voice director's fault. Wasnt fine tunes, like the game itself.

By "Sigma Stage 1" you mean the stage where you fight all the normal bosses right?
If the answer is yes then I can answer you:
At the Jakob stage, you get to the moon. There, they use a satellite to locate Sigma, but when they get to where he's supposed to be, a fake Sigma is waiting for them.
From there, they manage to locate the real Sigma location.
That's it.

I still liked the game for what it was, but without doubt it was the worst of the X series. Thankfuly X8 improved over the issues of its predecessor.

I used to play the hell out of this game as a kid, but looking back on it, it was pretty mediocre at best. I don't hate it, it just wasn't as good as I remember.

Then again, Axl is just a worse X, and Zero is practically useless in this game, so X is the only viable option realistically.
