Gas lighters run out of fluids, but plasma lighters run out of charge. I love mine, though, and it's in my very incomplete bugout bag.

With a plasma lighter you can plug it in to any outlet. With a gas lighter you need to buy butane from the store. Plasma lighters are also windproof.

...put a usb jack in the CRANK UP ''am/fm/ssw'' radio.... ;) (should already have one?? I have one just don't have a USB or even a 3volt external on it, yet... something I will be doing soon tho, good idea.... even if ya gotta crank it hard and steady to get enuf 'charge current' to MAKE A CELL FONE CALL it would be worth it to have in the glovbox for when ...needed... ) so it can ''crank n charge'' to get a quick spark quickjly when it ''runs empty''
