The scale goes to the extra deck as it was sent as a spell. The same way Inzektors work when they're sent as equip cards. Also, Cimo not negating the Void Ogre when he had the chance and instead just flipping the Mistake was a big mistake.
Gotta give this Yosenju build props. It's actually designed like a degenerate Yosenju deck for once lol. Heroes always prevail against trash though so all is right.
@@IrrelevantOaf speaking of degeneracy aren’t they around card of demise release? Because if I remember right demise yosenju was disgusting just because how the kamas work

He’s admitted that HERO often becomes floodgate turbo, but to his credit it’s much more resource intensive to get to that point than just playing a continuous spell
I love how even post duelist alliance, they both still are “neuron activation, click first” even when they play a deck that very clearly does not want to go first.
honestly weird how we got a infinitely better yosenju list in history of Jank than we did in regular, also not sure what Cimo is talking about with the idea of secret move and kama L being new or not out when they first played the deck, the whole deck basically came in the same set
@@IrrelevantOaf it was awful, no secret move, no kama L, only side decking kaijus and played in a format it had no business being anywhere near. Honestly feels like Cimo has an agenda against the deck and just wants to make it look worse than it actually is
Wait, in game 3, if Cimo let Void Ogre negate and *destroy* the 1st Fiendish Chain then activated the 2nd one in a new chain, he could've had a spell slot free. But I understand hindsight is 20/20.
I love how Alex is talking like Yosenju received support, but this was the first wave and in HoY they played the Demise version wich came out a year later
Kama 1 reads: "Once while this card is face up on the field" which, as long as you can bounce it back to the hand, really doesn't matter. Also, you have to have different named Kamas in between the summoning of the same named Kamas.
Funny story of the first time I've beaten qlis ever was with yusenjus I was getting clapped however my first duel with them was against a qli player and I won 2-0 easy
Another great jank video! A hero moves into Dark Law Turbo is truely a battle of floodgate monster vs floodgate S/T the deck. I liked all the chain action in last duel. Fiendish chain is actually pretty under rated old card from older formats. 😀
Duel Links recently had a Duellist Kingdom themed event where each attribute got an attack boost. I remember getting a ten game win streak with Yosenju because Wind got two days of +600 ATK each time, which combined with Tenki made them absolute beasts in combat. Also, Cimo really should used Duality before committing to the Mistake in Game 3. There was a chance of drawing Kama 1 and then bouncing Void Ogre back which would have been immesurably good.
After watching them in History and Jank, I have to agree with Cimo that if Yosenju had come out in a different era it would have been a pretty good deck. Yosenju probably would’ve been nuts in Zexal.
na 2016 in a Tin I think, there's a possibility it was a manga promo before that which would make it legal only in parts of the TCG but as a European I can't speak for thaty
imagine stratos being legal during this time but with that hero would have clearly been a tier 0 supper threat so obviously it couldn't have gotten of the list
I was wondering when you guys would get to Yosenjus in a History Of video (didn't know you did it with HOY as well as HOJ), but from the sounds of the comments... Cimooo just didn't play the Yosenju deck right. That's a shame, because they're one of my favorite archetypes in the entire game, and i was so convinced that they were at least rogue, at one point. Sounds like they were, they were just introduced in a meta that was too oppressive toward rogue decks to really kick it off.
Cimoo why not use fiendish chain on ecarado, void ogre could have negated that and you chain the other fiendish chain on void as gre and those two can’t attack or use their effects anymore and nothing can attack over kama 2
No Training Grounds in Yosenju? Well, that's certainly... a choice... I know non Pendulum variants were better at that time (and I use that word very loosely), but Training Grounds and Oyam were usually in the deck also.
Could have won game 1 too if he'd shot gunned vanity since he knew mbt had bubble in hand. But I think he was focused more on pushing a point than actually winning the game
The pendulum deck is good, but you need the other guy from sword sting to tie the whole deck, without yosenju sabu, you have 2 parts of the same deck, but no chatting between both parts
it was also to make the counter trap live on the opponents turn since it needs a face up yosenju on the field, but I get the feeling Cimo really didn't do his homework on this one

Why tf would you double fiendish Void Ogre, Fiendish Dark Hero Fusion, Activates Void Ogre, and just chain Fiendish on Void. That play he made was fucking terrible
Without the kaijus, the deck doesn't perform well. To this day I play the deck with a bunch of floodgates and a lot of removal. Only ever lose to meta if I misplay.

D to D communication, D to D conversation.
Wtf when the episode is short and there’s a game 3 you know that’s peak jank

True!

Good comment, wrong video.
Why did cimo not use duality in MP2??? Then he flips mistake on MBT's turn for no reason
