15:40 as a fallow sci fi lover who grew up with dragon ball and dragon ball z, i cant recommend enough that you reconect with your inner anime fight lovin kid self and experence the new broly movie its called dragon ball super broly... i really love how at the same time the films faithful to all its characters while also giving us a broly thats not only bad ass like the original but also more empithetic and even heroic than we ever imagined the character could be. hes a rage monster like the classic brolly but this time hes a rage monster with a guarded heart of gold! trust me, you wont regret taking the time to watch this simultaniously nostalgic and new feature film... ^^; god i sound like a freakin advertisment, but i carfuly worded my comment to try to convince you, becuase i feel you wont regret it/

The Devil line was not because of the gamma thing. It was another line swap. In the 90's version of Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly says. "I'm not a monster, I'm a devil" Or something similar to that effect. So both character get a line swap from each other in this fight.

"The Devil" is actually a reference to the old Broly movie.
Something to bare in mind with the hulk, it isn't the gamma rays that caused him to become the hulk, it was a genetic experiment in serum form that when combined with the gamma radiation caused him to mutate into the big green smashing machine.
So, the radiation was merely the catalyst that caused his already genetically modified person to change into hulk.
No, the main Earth 616 Hulk came to be via Banner getting caught in the blast of the Gamma Bomb he created, a military project that would hopefully leave the environment habitable afterward unlike existing nukes. You're thinking of the alternative Earth 1610 Hulk of the Ultimates or perhaps MCU Hulk who is heavily inspired by that adaptation that both became the Hulk via Banner's attempt to replicate the Super Soldier serum either knowingly on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D. if we're referring to the comic's "Ultimate" Universe or unknowingly on behalf of the military if we're instead talking MCU which he believed Gamma Radiation to be a key component of and tested on himself when the time came.
you are thinking about the wrong hulk, as KH said the 616 hulk got blasted by his gamma bomb that insta-killed him and send his ass straight to super hell before he revived as the hulk just as the one above all(god) intended.

Robert Bruce Banner's, whose first name is Robert only because of an early misprint and was only called David in the 1978 TV series because the showrunners thought "Bruce" was a gay name (sounds like a rumor, it isn't), father Brian Banner was also a radiation expert who was paranoid his genetic material had been affected by his many years as a specialist in that field and maybe he was right. That paranoia manifested in part as a fear that any potential offspring of his would inherit that alleged defect, born a monster as he put to it, and it was one of the bigger reasons he was so abusive that young Bruce developed D.I.D. Then again Jennifer Walters, the closest "Hulk" to a replication of the original, is Bruce's cousin on his mother's side and compatible blood-type or not she entirely lacks Brian's genes and can't even rely entirely on her Aunt Rebecca's genes to have survived that highly radioactive blood entering her bloodstream by becoming a "Hulk" instead. Examples like Harpy, A-Bomb, Red Hulk, and Red She-Hulk weren't accidents like Banner, Walters, Sterns, or Blonsky but were instead deliberately designed by Gamma knowledgeable supervillains like The Leader or A.I.M. The Military wasn't after Bruce's Hulk because he was a uniquely powerful "Hulk", they were initially after him because he was the only Hulk as well as a military cover-up and even then and especially as time went on it was mostly a vendetta by Thunderbolt Ross. A.I.M. has made a few attempts over the years to capture and study Banner's Hulk for the above research but they're content to study the somewhat easier to contain She-Hulk or the corpse of Blonsky's Abomination to the same end. The Leader is occasionally obsessed with putting his giant gamma-brain in Banner's powerful Hulk body but that stems from their shared origin and how he laments only getting extreme and growing intelligence from the exact same fallout that gave Banner boundless strength.

You're partly correct. Technically, every single person is partly correct, which is the awful part of the whole discussion. Stan was asked why Hulk was formed by being introduced to Gamma radiation in the OG comics (and bear in mind, 616 has been rebooted THREE TIMES), and he himself mentioned in an interview that Banner (and many other prominent Marvel heroes) is actually a Mutant (capital M). Yes. Like the X-Men. That kind of Mutant. Peter Parker is, too.
So yes. The Gamma did act as the primary catalyst on his already strange DNA, caused by numerous differing circumstances. In one Universe, it was an attempt to create a Super Serum (Like Cap), in some it was experimentation by his father (The Eric Bana version was based on one of the reboot stories), and then you get the OG comic where it was simply a test of a bomb that was supposed to be 'cleaner' than a traditional nuke. We now know a Gamma-heavy bomb would be disastrous, though. The original Hulk was created by his Mutant gene interacting with Gamma radiation from a nuclear test site that effectively obliterated him (as would be the case in a nuclear site). His Mutant gene activated and manifested as an intense (and hand-wavey) reaction to the Gamma, and bam boom pow. Hulk. Magic Gamma is magic.
Similarly, Parker's spider powers came from a Mutant gene activation that assimilated the spider's radioactive venom as a genetic manipulation, hence spider powers. Once again, hand-wavey. Welcome to the world of comics. Stan Lee was in an interview around the time the Eric Bana Hulk came out, IIRC, where he said that he'd decided in the 90s or 2000s that basically the whole Universe was just made up of 'M-gene variations', because even today, we don't fully comprehend how genetic mutations function. Science basically agrees genetic mutations don't give you super powers, however. It's all fantasy. Thank goodness for that.
For the newer Death Battles (this being one of them) they started creating original music for the animations, a lot of the times including vocals, and I just love the one for this fight so much. I feel like with these 2 characters you can't simply sell their power in music through just making something as heavy sounding as you can, you have to do something different, and I like what they did here.

From what i figured from it, merging with the universe is less like being a localized individual clump of matter; it's more of becoming akin to a scalar field that is somehow entangled with every other fundamental field. Instead of "I am the universe" in a metaphorical sense, it's more "I am the universe" /literal/
If it had been a hulk with more of Bruce Banners personality, they would have just sat there and admired the cute crittes together, no fight in the first place.
Just like Broly stole Bruce Banner's line from the MCU, Hulk stole Broly's line from Dragonball Z Abridged. Deathbattle does their homework on the cultural memes (eg. "Brolys power is maximum") and Dragonball's fandom has been heavily influenced by the Abridged series.
This kind of "Abridged" refers to a comedic fan shortening of the series that rehashes the original story with a less than serious approach to it.

Brolly is much faster than the Hulk, he can even move at the speed of light or even faster, if this were serious, the Hulk wouldn't even be able to hit Brolly, in fact he wouldn't even be able to see him.

Keep in mind that gamma radiation doesn't always make you a "hulk". In the comics, maybe six percent of the human population can develop superpowers by a variety means, thanks to alien genetic engineering.

Ok, to explain about the enemy that merged with the universe and caused havok across multiple timelines, Zamasu was a kai who was apprentice to the supreme kai of universe 10, essentially the god of the main universe of Dragonball. He had an overdeveloped sense of justice and wanted to destroy all evil (also concluding that most intelligent life is evil), but was unable to interfere in mortal events. Using a ring owned by the supreme kai of universe 10 that allows time travel and even moving between timelines, he enacted a plan that involved having the version of himself from Future Trunks' timeline use the Super Dragonballs (planet-sized Dragonballs that can grant any wish with absolutely no restrictions) to switch bodies with another timeline's version of Goku, then fusing with the main timeline version to become a god in a more traditional sense than you'd usually think for Dragonball in an attempt to exterminate all sentient life in all universes, therefore eliminating all capacity for evil.
Goku won.
Also, being a fan of both Marvel and Dragonball, it 100% should be Hulk that wins. Death Battle plays favorites a lot, and leaves out things to do so when it's convenient.

Technically in the comics the hulk doesn't really needs his body to come back to life and it's more about magic than typical science and the savage hulk have way greater feats which includes throwing gwenpool in the white space of the comic book (it's about comic book characters so yes, it's difficult to understand how is this possible realistically 😂😂😂) or shake an infinity number of dimensions (most probably universes because the dimensions was like different places and not real dimensions) fighting the u-foes, joe fixit (a weaker personality than the savage hulk) was able to enter and move in the dimension of a demon with an infinity density and joe fixit was just feeling heavy but in the comics joe fixit is less powerful than the savage hulk and the savage hulk is less powerful than the green scar hulk + they showed the hulk vs sentry fight explaining it in the wrong way, in that fight the sentry was going out of control against the hulk and hulk just tried to stop sentry making him think, he didn't reversed to banner for other reasons (and a moment after that he turned in his green scar hulk form again) and if we have to be honest the feat of goku isn't that relevant for a "universal" feat because using the logic he didn't destroyed the universe with that punch and it wasn't just the power of his punch but the clash of his punch with the beerus' punch and beerus is stated to be way more powerful than goku so it's more a beerus feat instead of a goku's feat making the best goku's feat not even universal and I understand that it's about broly but not even broly proved to be universal because in db the characters almost never use the 100% of their power to don't gass out fast, goku in his ssj god form wasn't able to control himself but in his ssj blue form was able to do it and using the logic if he was truly going 100% on broly the universe should have been destroyed but nothing happened to the universe + apparently the db super version of broly isn't limitless in terms of power but the hulk is limitless by always and in the comics the real reason if he do not destroy everything every time it's because bruce banner hold back his personalities from the inside and sometimes his personalities hold back too but when it not happens it's just about a total destruction, however I have a question to do... Imagine that a creature similar to the hulk is real (which generate and absorb real gamma energy without a limit from our reality) what material would it have to be made of to contain that kind of energy? (assuming that the ability to heal from everything can even heal constantly his body from the energy he produces)

Death Battle has said that for some fights, they've determined that one combatant would have a win rate fairly close to their opponent's (something like 60% versus 40%), or, at least, that the losing side would win in some cases if things happened to go their way. According to DB, though, their chosen winner is the one who will win in the majority of outcomes.

Death Battle is the highest budget power scaling channel out there. They obviously didn't factor in every little moment from both characters and the winner is ultimately who they want to win, which drives discussion and helps their channel grow. They gamed the system, which is respectable.
i stop watching death battle after Hercules vs Sun Wokung... i'm tired of their one sided fights, in Sun Wukong case, theirs power level is not only not even at the same level.. Sun Wukong cant die at all, so it's not surprises that he win the death battle as only Herculus can die in that fight.
thier older fights is more intresting as they at least try to make it an even fight.
