    00:49 I almost completed my thought. Lol. I think why I'm fired up is because of the flow of the lick and how it moves from hole 6 to 1. Be sure to check the video description for the tabs and links to sign up for the classes. Thanks!!

    Thanks Ronnie good stuff. I listen to a lot of Snooky and his son Rip Lee Pryor. I picked up a cool lock from one of them that is a 5-4-3-2 all draws. He uses it as a lead in to a riff. It’s not intuitive but once you get the rhythm of the notes it works.

    Thanks for the intro to Snooky Pryor. I like his bluesy version of When the Saints Come Marching In. Will you be covering that song? I’ve only been able to play in first position and would like to learn bluesy version but just now trying to get bends.

      I changed the video description to include both versions so there's no confusion. Thanks.

      @@Harmonica123 Later in the video you mentioned the 4 blow4 draw version so i deleted my observation. 👍

    Very cool. Almost sounds like he’s playing the octave with that 6 blow.

      Sometimes the dirt of the chord that we hear just before the single note (due to tongue blocking) and the distortion of the amp can make it very difficult to determine if it's a clean note, dirty note or octave. I hear it as a clean 6 blow played with tongue blocking but it would work well as a 36 too!.

    Ronnie
    Jimmy here… are those tounge blocks or octave scale in the second part?

      @Harmonica123  3 місяці тому

      tongue blocking the first half of the riff (first 5 notes) and puckering the last half.
