    Eh, this device seems over-engineered and more finicky to get perfect spheres compared to the syringe connected to a 96 dropper plate.

    Thank you for making this video. I actually returned mine as I was getting a lot of sperm shape spheres.

      Adjusting the drop distance until you get that sweet spot is the trick

    wouldn't this work better with a magnetic stirrer on low?

    • @Modernist_Pantry
      @Modernist_Pantry  4 роки тому +1

      If you have a magnetic stirrer it would work. But they are more typical in labs than they are in most kitchens.

      @@Modernist_Pantry Nice! :D Yea they are really common in labs, but theyre better for mixing shakes and sauces than a traditional mixer and much much less cleanup. The only reason I'd ever use a standard mixer is if I needed to further process whatever it was I was mixing... if it's already in the granularity that you want a magnetic stirrer is hard to beat.
      (and thanks for the quick reply)

      Really depends on what you're making, but here is a good article to get started: blog.modernistpantry.com/advice/dropping-knowledge-in-sphere-form/
