Once again, thanks for this video. I have now serviced 3 SRTs thanks to you and they work like new. Much appreciated!

    It's fun to watch.
Or maybe a small vacuum cleaner would be useful.

This is sooooo valuable. My Christmas project this year will be an overhaul of an old SRT that I just bought. Thanks for this marvellous guide!

@@aokcamera would lithium grease be a decent replacement for the Moebius grease? Since the application is small and I only plan to restore 1 camera. Thanks again!

@@TheFattestLonelyPickle I don’t have much experience with lithium based grease so I can’t fully endorse it myself, but I did some research on it for you. The main things I look for when choosing a suitable grease are consistency, temp tolerance, longevity and what types of materials it can be used in between. I know that lithium grease is very versatile with great tolerances and moisture resistance, the only red flag for me is that it can speed the break down of plastics over time. There are a few plastic parts in the SRT so just be mindful to avoid contact with them, use a small amount and I think it should do the trick for you 👍.

Hey man these videos are awesome! Are you planning on showing the reassembly of the pulley mechanism? I've been pulling my hair out trying to get mine back together.

Hola, gracias por estos vídeos, increíbles. Una pregunta, dónde puedo comprar el tapete donde apoyas la cámara y los accesorios en general. Un saludo y gracias

do you have any recommendations for an alternative for the oil?

what's the reason for not getting isopropyl on the mirror? i've always used it in the past to clean off the oil dust mist that settles on them when someone decided to leave the camera out without a cap for a couple of years/decades.

Would this work for the 102 as well?
