Mr. Ginger I cannot describe in words how much you have helped me during my time learning math. I absolutely love how you solve and explain past paper questions! I'll always be supporting! Love the work from a 10th grade IGCSE student
This is a shortcut to find the other angles but as you progress into A-Level / IB, you really need the understanding given in the video to help you with more complicated questions 🙂
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your incredible help with all the IGCSE mathematics questions and tricks. Your guidance has truly made a difference, simplifying concepts that once felt overwhelming. Your ability to break down complex problems and share clever shortcuts has been invaluable. I deeply appreciate the time and effort you’ve invested in helping students succeed. Thank you once again for being such a great mentor and support system.
You're a life a saver, I procrastinated the whole year and literally started revising a week ago and your videos saved me. Would be much appreciated if you could do a prediction paper for IGCSE 0580 paper 4 and paper 2 since my exam is this Friday. Thanks so much mate aiming for those As
Just realized you've already posted the prediction papers I will 100% those topics within the short time I have, I'm aiming for As not A* but yes once again thank you so much. If possible could you solve some yearly 0580 papers with all your tricks and tips.
4:45 my personal tip for the graphs if you have trouble memorizing them is to do sin 0,90,180,270,360 and plot the points and then connect them with a smooth curve. eventually you will memorize them, also these are popular values so many of these are known already like sin 90 and sin 180 and 360
Also, do all your videos also apply to oct/nov exams and are they aligned with the syllabus. I see for most of your titles it’s “everything you need to know” so I assume it’s aligned with te syllabus so we don’t learn “unnecessary” information if I may say. Very helpful!
It is aligned with either the 0580 or 0607 syllabus - if it is a topic specific to 0580 or 0607 I will label it in the title but as there is about 85% crossover many of the videos just say All of iGCSE that are valid for both courses, including Oct / Nov papers as well 👍
Hi everyone, one point that Mr. Ginger missed is: "Give non-exact numerical answers correct to 3 significant figures, or 1 decimal place for angles in degrees, unless a different level of accuracy is specified in the question." This information can be found on the "instructions" on the first page of any past paper.
I finished my paper 4 and paper 2 maths a couple of days ago I think i passed and am hoping for a C grade if not for your videos i would have probably got an F. This years paper is extremley hard paper 2 felt like paper 4 we had a question where u had to find the sequence nth term using simultaneous equations i wasnt able to answer that, for paper 4 I ran out of time the last 2 pages were almost empty aside from a few questions.
on the sin, cos and tan graphs how do we pinpoint what value we need to find? for example at 17:20 you make a cos graph and stop before 270 to find your answer. how do we pinpoint we had to stop before 270 and not before 360?
Sir your videos are awesome and have helped me a lot, but I have a doubt at 17:32 in this video, you said that we can find the second angle by finding the length of the x axis as they are same lengths, but can you please explain how did you interpret that they are of same lengths?
Hi sir, i think it would be easier if you did 360 - the first value to get the second value. Ive tried it out and it seems to work, great vedio though!
Do we often get questions that don't give us a graph at all and we need to solve a trig equation? If so, how do we know what to add to the black line you showed in the first question? With a graph, it's easier cause I can draw straight lines and see what the second solution is, but without a graph, it would be harder.
Hi Mr. Ginger, I have a question about the marking scheme. If you give the correct answer you do not need to look at the other marks because you get full marks for the correct answer: is that correct? Also, it would be great if you made a video on the marking scheme.
Can i ask, does this video cover all possible forms of trig equation question that the November 2023 extended 0580 for 2023 and 2024 igcses will ask, and will the difficulty level be the same?
Hello there ginger i have a quick question can we write 2 answer in my exam paper (igcse 0580) bc if i am not sure of one i can work it twice and give out the answers it would really help if you respond back thanks
Hello sir! I have a question. For question 22 and other questions like that, can we draw the graph in the working area or would that be wrong? Thank you btw your videos are really helping me prep for my exam tmr :).

@@GingerMathematician bro.Youre the best math teacher and due to you I got an A* last year...looking forward to get it in my boards as well!!
I have. A question when ever we have tan to get the second value can we just add the first value to 180
That also works but I like to teach the concepts and not rote style rules :-)
Sir why at 23:51 we need to times -16.6 with -1??
Nope we take the "16.6" from the calculation, then add to 180 and take away from 360 to find the two answers we want :-)
@@GingerMathematician sir I don't understand how did we get 16.6 when after calculation we got -16.6

Hi Mr. Ginger, I have a question about the marking scheme. If you give the correct answer you do not need to look at the other marks because you get full marks for the correct answer: is that correct? Also, it would be great if you made a video on the marking scheme.
Generally that is the case but writing the wrong answer can then mean losing ALL marks for the question, which is something to avoid 🙂👍

will they ever ask you a question like sin x = 1/2 and they give you a value and say to find the previous angles so what would you do? 180-x or 180+x?
