just a tip, some calculators have a mode called table, where you write the equation and the x values(which are almost always -3 to 3) , and you'll get the y values for plotting the graph
Is that on the Casio Classwiz? :-)

Thank you so much for this video, I found the “draw a line tangent to the graph” questions really helpful, because I’m struggling at drawing tangents. By the way I have a question: I dropped my fx-82 a few days ago and now it’s broken... so I’m thinking of buying a fx-991. Is the fx-991 allowed in the iGCSE exams?
The FX-991 is also perfectly fine for iGCSE 0580 Maths exams 😊

for question e, what does the difference between 2 quadratic equations tell us, because you subtracted them to get -2x+2, but I do not understand why you subtracted.
To work out how to use the graph already drawn effectively :-)
for tangent questions, do i have to show the working out i do on the graph to get the gradient, or would it not be checked by the examiner? thanks

at the last question (e) can you pls explain how u got x=1, im really confused. I tried to do the math myself and went with side-switching (isolating x) and i dont get 1... maybe its a problem in my calculation but please help. Thank you for the video though, extremely helpful!!

Hey, I have a question. There is this weird question where a cone is cut through a point from the top, and they ask for the angle. Can you please explain it? I still can’t get it.
It’s appeared in several papers, most recently in the feb march p42 2022

There is something i am confused about, the points of intersections of the two curves have different y values
I mean there aren’t on the same level
How could they be solutions for the cubic curve x3 + 8x2 +3x+6 =0?
Don’t solutions have the same y?
