Yessss....I've been feeling the same way. The boxes have gotten boring. My choices have been awful for months now. I canceled my glambag last month bc I just wasn't excited by anything anymore and after the price increase, it just wasn't worth it.
I agree. This months box didn't have anything I was overly excited about
I love Lancome's mascara primer (Cils Booster). It does add additional length before I add my mascara.
Definitely Rachel. The Kosas setting powder yes please! These boxes seem really good 1 month & totally random the next
Lmao the look on Katrina's face when Rachel held up the Kosas 😂 but honestly I got 3 palettes with my boost and I still wasn't that impressed with my choices. You both had great boxes it's just what do you use more? I was almost boxy twins with Katrina except I didn't get the brow thing. TFS😊

LADIES!! I love eyelash primer to keep my curled lashes lifted, it's like hair spray for your eyelashes. I used Estee Lauder Little Black Primer ($26) for quite sometime until I found the Essence brand for $4.99!! Works the exact same!!!
Hi Katrina! I am as fair as you and I thought I wouldn't use those darker blush shades. They are a lot more sheer than you'd expect. The formula lays beautifully on the skin, blurring/buildable. I was able to wear the two darkest yesterday without issue. They are definitely blushes, not bronzer, unless you are really into a blushy bronzer. Someone said this palette is darker than the original formulation, so I was worried it wouldn't work. Not an issue at all and very pretty - tbh!

I agree that the options this month were super lackluster. I wouldn't purchase any of the options by themselves because of interest
I wanted the lunar blush palette but it wasn't a choice for me so I purchased it. I was very disappointed in the choices this month. I used to be excited about the hoxycharm but not any more.❤

Yaayyyyy Sis vs Sis 🎉 I agree with both of you about your boxes. I liked the same things you did and I was Meh on the other stuff. I will say with the Lunar Beauty blush palette though, his formula is really really nice. I have that blush palette and I love it. I also have a couple of his eye shadow palettes and really like those as well. 😊 overall thought, with Boxy by Ipsy I haven’t been so impressed 🤷♀️ always love to see both you beautiful gals though. I was unimpressed with my Boxy choices too. The one thing I really wanted was the Lunar Beauty blush palette but I was not offered it as a choice. The Destino palette was in Boxy a few months ago-I still haven’t used it…..

Great video 👍👍 I miss getting a subscription box and having something to look forward to just for me. I like watching videos of them being opened though I would have loved getting both palettes but I would have loved the under eye patches the powder and concealer to. I agree with you it was weird not seeing a palette in each box. I thought you were supposed to get some sort of palette in every box. I'm sending out love to everyone 💙💛❤💚💜

I agree with you ladies. The choices this month were abysmal. Many of the items in my choices, I received before for eg the Alamar eyeshadow palette and the Pomelo hair mask. I normally put up a video of choices. I didn’t bother because the products available were poor.
Usually, after choices, I go to Add Ons and pick the spoilers that weren’t available.
This is the first time in months if not a year or longer where I didn’t buy add ons.
All I can say is Icon Box in May better bring it.
The one thing that I really wanted this month was the Lunar Beauty face palette and it wasn't even a choice product for me. I purchased it as an add-on. I have enjoyed Manny's Lunar Beauty line and purchased quite a bit of his line.
As for the choices this month, I was like "meh". I did choose the perfume oil roll-on that turned out to be a good surprise and really liked it. My teenage daughter keeps asking to use it.

I am 61 and my lashes won't hold mascara no matter the brand, so I use primer now from Maybelline and it holds the mascara! I hear you on the extra step...
I have the lash primer otw from sephora. I use the Loreal one because my lashes need that extra oomph
I was super pleased with my box! Hair serum, face serum, brushes, cutest can be earrings, and the pepper perfume, which smells very Estée Lauder and a bit too old for me…. and I added on the Violet Voss eyeshadow and blush palette….. I have paused😮 for May. We’ll see when June spoilers come out.😊

I will say to Rachel that kosas powder expires rather quickly so I’d use that up within a reasonable time
I received that Alamar Destino pallet in my November 2023 Boxycharm box and Again this month. When I mentioned it to Ipsy they first insinuated I was lying and then told me to cancel one of my two subscriptions. They seem to be sending out to many dupes.

So that hair mask you have to put in the fridge for 10 mins and put it on dry hair for 20 mins and then wash and condition your hair!! I have had that now for 6 months and only used it once!!

Im jealous about the mascara primer! If its black it often can be used as mascara. Like blinc lash primer... is amazing as a mascara & Laura Geller too (the only product I use from her) its just sad because I like 1 damn item. If I got your sisters box I would have been SO happy. Yep love the fenty product too. Would have loved the brow product you recieved. My choices were dreadful along with my powerpicks. The 3rd choice is always junk. Thats not okay with how expensive the box is. I dont do the sales anymore.. they are mainly so overpriced and laughable for items that are clearly 5 years old. Its sad.
I loved every item last month. Only like 1 item this month. They need to do better with such a price increase. I dont care for Alamar due to the color stories. I like some colors but wont grab for the palettes because the story is a mess. Im sad I didnt get the kosas.. I would use a pressed powder, I dont like loose and thats all ive ever recieved. Ooo I thought the lunar was a blush palette. I dont know where I heard that. Girl that primer is going to be fantastic, I just know it. Use it as mascara. Its literally no different if its black.

I’m annoyed they had the Destino palette as a power pick or whatever a few months ago and they brought it back for April😒 typical shady Ipsy nonsense lol😒😒 Manny Mua’s brand Lunar Beauty is amazing and totally worth it! April was trash the icon box better be nice I’m very close to canceling 😅

Ladies pleasee . You need to wear the foundation and concealer and let it dry down to know if its your shade or not!

I use a mascara primer every time I put mascara on. I think it makes a big difference. Loreal has a really good one.
