Mam under section 145 me bola gaya ki ek witness ka cross examination ho sakta hai as to his previous statements made by him in writing without usko show karke lekin yahan pe phir bola gaya ki show kar sakte memory refresh karne k liye ? Matlab kuch samajh me nahi aya .plz explain mam plz .

Is sec145 and sec 157 are related to each other

If the declaring person survives, his declaration is inadmissible under Section 32 clause 1.
He should be examine in court and the adverse party must be given a chance to cross examine him.
His testimony should be used for corroboration under section 157.
It can be contradicted under section 145 by the adverse party
