Nice interview! Piece of advice for next time: try to use microphones o make the interview in a close place, because the noise is really annoying and I can barely hear you. I have to use headphones to understand what you were talking about.
Benjamin Ipinza noted! In hindsight we had the same idea. Not fixable by then, but we added subtitles to help a bit. Hopefully they get you through the hard to understand bits!
Jani !!!!!!
First time I've heard Jani talk XD I like his accent. Great interview, good questions and good answers. The one problem is that the sound is kinda quiet and the background noise is a bit loud.
I think that was more of a timing thing, and less to do with whether Jani was around. Sonata Arctica was going to break up after the Reckoning Night tour if they didn't go full weird-prog, and Jani left for a few reasons: one, he obviously felt SA shouldn't go past the line between Unia and Reckoning Night when it came to style; two, Jani was starting to want to write his own stuff; and three, at that time he was dealing with the Finnish authorities, and made himself so unavailable that firing him was the only viable option. Had Jani stayed in SA, I predict not much would have changed in their discography, and the testament to that is that Unia was recorded and released while Jani was still in the band.
Nice interview. But I think next time you can find some place where is quiet.Or you can add the English subtitles. Thankyou. PS Because I am not a English speaking people, so words may not be right, please forgive me

He is alive!
Best guitarist ever.
Jani Liimatainen, for me the most influencial guitarist of our time. Love him.
Im so happy Jani is in Insomium now ❤
Well, I miss Jani so much in Sonata... Hopefully, someday he will play with them again... Nice interview btw!!
We hope. We pray.
No one but Jani.
YES!!! still have my hopes on that. 🤘🏼
Has he ever mentioned anything regarding returning to Sonata?
for me, Jani Liimatainen is the only real Sonata Arctica guitarist.
Es un divino, después las viejas dicen que los metaleros son unos endemoniados... es una ternurita! 😍
Waiting for that álbum Jani!
I already love this dude. Welcome to Insomnium :)

Sonata Arctica needs him back! They've been garbage since Unia and it's because you left.
Tervepä terve!
