As someone who’s is autistic I love this, it shows that it isn’t a weakness the fact that someone as talented as Ospreay is can do & amazing things it really shows that anything is possible.
As an autistic,we def claim Ospreay and Mox ❤️
as someone who's dislexic and in the sprectrum for Aspenger Sindrome, it warms my heart to the maximum. It is not a weakness but a "superpower" of your own that helps you and it really shows how anything is possibile. Iam using all this to build up the courage/even more determination/trust in myself that i can start wrestling in my homecountry without worrying what people say to me
Thanks for this. It's important for neurodivergent performers and artists to share, so that others can draw inspiration.
As someone who has ADHD & Dyslexia, this makes me love Will even more!!
i mean this gives me more repest for will cuse im have been diagnose with autism spectrum since 4th grade and i ahve always seen it a weekness but hearing him say that it opens my mind to see how even if you are on the spectrum you cna still make a good name for youre self
I was diagnosed with ASD last year. I don't see it as a weakness at all. I'm hyperfocused and have great awareness. my Doctor said neurodivergence is like the difference between an Android and an iPhone, both do the same thing just slightly differently.
Interesting that Renee mentions Jon possibly having autism. As a diagnosed person, I could certainly see that being the case. He's at least got the interoception issues, introversion and social awkwardness, linguistic quirks, and tendency to ruminate.
I respect him even more than I already did. I'm autistic, a bit lower on the spectrum which is lucky for me. The fact that he does everything in such a grueling industry and makes it look so easy, and that he's very similar to me in terms of mental health, just makes me like and want to support him even more as both a person and as incredible performer.
Mad respect to Will Ospreay.
I was really excited when herd Will was going to be on the show. Hearing will story has help me in life. As a person who is has Autism its awesome that Will opened up and talked about autism and alot of things like that.
Thank you so much Ospreay, I have Autism and I was ashamed of having it. So this Helped me to be proud of who I am.
i was like that to
As a father of a son on the Autism spectrum (who loves AEW) this means the world to me
This explains a lot of his tweets
Good interview
Am diagnosed Level 1 autism in adulthood myself (and yeah, the waiting list was indeed fucking years long) and British too, so I find Will's story very affirming. Though I've had the opposite learning struggles to him, moreso hyperlexia. Funny how the same disorder manifests differently in us all. As he says, the key is finding a way to make it work for you. More power to the lad.
I been living with autism my whole life I’m a proud wrestling fan!!
Love this dude! 👊😎👍🙏❤
I’m not a fan of wrestling (not against it, just don’t know it) but I really want to be his friend. He seems great ❤
He the only reason why I love wrestling he is literally my role model in wrestling and who I look up too, finding out he has ADHD, Autism and dyslexia is the reason why I love him cause I have dyslexia and ADHD and well said to him saying this is superpower cause it is to us and people who don't understand us won't ever be happy like us 😊
Just want to say not all people with an autism diagnosis are able to access that 'superpower' element.
That is just a way to frame it. I have Cerebral Palsy. Walk an talk fine. Just a limp.
I also have issues with input and output of information. Auditory and visual wise, you can discriminate between stimuli and "change the channel." I can't. It makes me prone to sensory overload.
All of my diagnoses are just an explanation and that I must work a bit more. No excuse at all. It's just how that part of me works.
Weaponizing your disability is incredibly based
Yeah Ive got Aspergers Syndrome as well. Also, I know for a fact, Susan Boyle, Anne Hegerty, Satoshi Tajiri (creator of Pokemon), all admitted to having it
good
