I miss Jim on POWERRR every week, but I gotta say NWA is putting out one of my favorite shows every week! I've been super impressed with Powerrr. I watch it dedicatedly.

All the drama could have been avoided so easily. Just make a little five minute video with Jim and Dave explaining what happened. Jim apologizes to everyone he offended, Dave says that it wasn't the sort of thing that NWA Power is about, and they both say they're going to do better going forward. Just a little sincerity, and owning mistakes. Instead Jim lost his gig and Dave looks like a weasel. The show is still very good (naturally, they have a lot of talented people involved doing it the right way), but it sucks that it went down the way it did.

Its benefitial for both companies to have ties and share talent, the nwa roster is still too small and roh is having some rough days, besides ROH have plenty of big guys who would fit the NWA style like the Bouncers, PCO, Jeff Cobb, the briscoes etc, only 80s mongoloids elitists cant realize the benefits of that alliance
I watched last week's NWA episode and they had some guy (I'm assuming it was an ROH guy, think he was called either Cross or Starr or something like that) and during the match he did a bunch of flips, I think he may have hit a handspring cutter at some point, and then he ended the match with a shooting star press. I can already envision NWA bringing more of these clowns in and it's only a matter of time until we're seeing 450's three times a show.

I knew NWA would eventually also pander to the indy/strong style/daredevil flipping midgets loving smarks, the vocal minority scum killing wrestling. Average viewership doesn't lie. Used to be of a half million easy for NWA on the 7 first episodes, now barely going 300K after a while if very lucky.
Ever since they sold out, they have been doing same of the whack shit other indy promotions do, instead of staying true to the 80s rasslin' roots. Fuck Dave Lasagna. Fuck Colt Trashana.

Cornette was the Star of NWA Power...Period! Lagana had every chance to do the edit and instead left it in, and didn't even have the SACK to take some responsibility from all the fake Twitter Heat it got. Jim did Lagana all these favors for little cash to get the NWA over, and that's the thanks he got from Lagana...Total Garbage!

Yes, the reason Jim was fired was not handled well. That aside, the show is doing well isn't making nowhere near the number of mistakes WWE & AEW do. I'm curious what the "number of mistakes" are.

NWA POWERRR is the best weekly wrestling show right now..I've watched every episode since day 1 ..and I've watched wrestling since 1988 overall ..and currently tjere show is by far the best overall for pro wrestling ..with nxt in 2nd place ..I know good shit when I see it and what NWA are doing is great..is it perfect no ..but overall it's a great show and is the only wrestling that I look forward to every week I haven't anticipated a show like that since the attitude era and Monday night wars

extra little footage used on documentarys and for shows. like people riding in a car, shit that is not important . video of buildings, fans in the crowd, sounds like video of Jim talking about the old days of nwa. like on a dvd, the "extras" and what not

Chris Fraser B roll is extra footage you put in when editing so it’s not just ppl talking you can see what they’re talking about it adds effect ...say someone is talking about las vegas they show the las vegas strip as that person is talking about it or if cornette is yapping about a wrestler they show the footage about what hes cracking on
just like, extra footage, like if you talking about a town, there's footage of the skyline,
or in wrestling, it's like people entering the arena. it's just like stock footage you shoot.

Idk how the plans fell through but NWA Powerrr being on the WWE Network would’ve been cool. & the potential of Nick Aldis showing up with the NWA title to go face to face with whoever the WWE Champion would be at the time is cool. Also Nick Aldis has said he’d love to defend the title against Hunter, that’d be a huge match
NWA Powerrr would never be on the WWE Network due to every wrestler would have to be under a WWE contract and most of them won't do it.
I think the last time WWE had anything to do with the NWA was when Dan Severn was the world champion & UFC Heavyweight Champion. When they split in January 1963 that's when all ties to the NWA were severed

Donald Flowers Not true. They ran an Evolve show on the Network. Kota Ibushi & Zack Saber Jr weren’t under contract but competed in the CWC. & most of the women from the 2 MYC on the Network weren’t under contract. Hell James Storm was booked strong for 2 weeks on NXT tv & was never under contract

NWA was great until they did the stupidest dummist thing ever by letting Jim go. So they lost me as a viewer.
Jim even said it himself when he said he really didn't want to do commentary anymore, and wasn't looking forward to flying to Atlanta every month. Quit being so butt hurt over it and be happy he is doing exactly what he wants to do. NWA now has Stu, and Sean Mooney and are doing great.
