The Sp 202 doesn't have resampling or a sequencer, so there's no way to record a drum loop onto one pad. Judging from the fact that the loop for the drums he has sounds a bit more produced then just a loop of a drum break from some record, he probably loaded drum sounds onto his sp 404 and then either sequenced them exactly or using a metronome did a damn fine job recording the drums with his fingers making his own beat, and he sampled THAT drum loop into the sp 202, which is what you hear. It's hard to use just the sp 202, it has the sound and effects of a dream boat machine, but not the production capability to do what he did.
