The organizers’ disappointing short notice is vague, inconsiderate and extra safe for their own interest! Such an embarrassment to PH’s “culture” when global eyes are starting to watch closely!
Okay, greed is the problem and lot logistics. I think I remember last year that the prices were pretty affordable. I didn't know that's how much they are charging right now. The goal of the event is not only to promote Ppop, but also to promote our culture. I can't imagine the frustrations of those who are coming from different parts of the world. The organizers are very unprofessional. This hurts not only the industry but our image as a country.
Greed is never good because you cannot fill that void with money.
I’m picturing SB19 visiting the events incognito, blending with the crowd and feeling the community they helped build.
That would be cool but might be difficult to pull off. Although, if they go all covered up like Ken does, they just might!
I feel sorry for the international fans for they've sacrifice so much of their money, time and effort of coming here in the Philippines for the event but being postponed one week before the dated time of the concert 😢💔
This is so bad...whoever behind this need to be accountable for their actions.... that person really put ppop into a bad limelight esp for the international fans. Daayum. This is so bad.
True this is exactly unprofessional in the part of the organizers... the fans of all the ppop groups prepared and spent money and time for the event 😢
I'm not going cause I can only spend my hard earned money for one event cause I'm in mindanao it will cause me a lot extra and I want to go to an event where I can watch my mahalima which in tge first place made me love Ppop. But I hope other fans that can and are available can go and support those events even without SB19 cause those Ppop groups that will be there are SB19's dream come true. It's like being in SB19's dream land that's becoming reality.
I feel bad for the foreign fans who are coming to see the concert and who were already here..that's a damage to the reputation of ppop industry

Not just the international fans but the local fans from the province. Ung organizer is a businessman first, fan second.
Eto ako nung last week. Di ko marebook/reschedule roundtrip tickets ko. Tinuloy ko na lang ang trip and went to ppop fest

The Big difference of SB19 from other Ppop Group are Their: Individual distinct voice quality and range important for blending and harmonization, Passion, Energy, Good Character that transcends on their individual aura and a leader who is a genius song writer with an impeccable ear to make use of all their voices strength to produce an excellent song..💯🤗💙
I dont think this has to be said. They are now an independent group. They have all the creative freedom and already found their own style whereas other groups are still exploring and experimenting on theirs. Its not fair to them. 😊

It is unconscionable what the Ppopcon organizers did. Announcing the postponement that late was just so wrong and was simply poor management. True that the least they could do was to refund tickets. It’s not like some people could book flights and ask for more vacation days just like that. It’s not just unprofessional, it seems like a scam.

I know that it's SB19's dream to promote the Philippines and its talents, however, when there are people in the industry who are just trying to take advantage of the opportunities created by SB19 without the same heart, passion, and mindset as SB19, issues like these will happen. I think fans should not just blindly support PPOP, because I don't think it will create the future SB19 envisioned for the Philippine Music industry. As fans, we should be more attentive to the quality of artists we support because, if the goal is global domination, these artists will be a representative of the Philippines and need to show the world that Filipinos are capable of excellence. Unfortunately, there are people in the Philippine Music industry who are just peddling mediocrity and subpar entertainment while having the audacity to aim for international recognition and at the same time discrediting the same people who paved the way for them. It is up to the fans to show these people (PPOPCON organizers, certain PPOP groups and their managements, and future PPOP aspirants) that they need to step up their game if they want to be successful like SB19. This is the form of quality control the Philippines need to ensure a more long-term rise of the Philippine Music industry as it actually adds to, instead of detracts from, all the efforts of SB19 and A'TIN. The other artists need to be world-class like SB19 to appeal to the global audience/market.
P.S. I acknowledge that there are other notable PPOP groups apart from SB19, and I don't see the point of having fandom wars. People can like and support multiple artists at the same time, and if some people don't like a specific artist, they can always choose not to support, but they don't have to attack them or their fans. Rant over.✌️

Yup, this unexpected postpone of ppopcon event did some negative feedback and it would give a little bit of a challenge for the fans of promoting ppop in the near future.
Hey Chuck, I would love to see a concept video showing the progression of SB19 and the meaning behind every song. This would be so good for current and future SB19 fans. I would love to show people why I'm an A'Tin. A comprehensive and intertaining video I can point new reactors too would be fantastic! What Boyband writes songs with such deep meaning as SB19 songs. From a tribute to the parent figures in their lives to thanking their loyal fan base as well as lifting people up with their positive messages of preserverance and persistance. Even their collaborations project a positive attitude! Keep stuff coming Chuck!

Thank you Chuck, for giving credit where it is due. I know for a fact that you had some brouhaha with some A'tin who's behind the Ppopcom, but they really did good coming up with this con in such a short time. I'm glad some of those performers were given the chance to showcase their talent and btw, take note of 143yesmylove, ver5us and other performers, they're really good! Nagtiis sa initan yung mga nandoon, all for the love of Ppop. Spotted din yung mga SB19 moms.
I Travelled from Australia to Manila in 2022 for ppop 2022. It took me more than 2 months of pre-planning to arrange time off work, book flights( at realistic prices) , book a hotel etc. THANKFULLY , I was unable to plan for ppop 2023 which turns out to be a lucky for me. But if fans can put together a concert in just over a week , it makes me wonder what the REAL ISSUE behind the cancelling of ppop 2023 is ????

Hmmmm...actually so far may mga decent groups naman na live singing while hard core dancing. Mahalima set the standard talaga pero may ibang magagaling din. Iba lang talaga aura ng SB and personality. May hatak sa tao. Siguro for me yun yung kulang ng mga ibang groups, kulang sa relatable personality kaya hindi ako mahatak kahit magaling.
Kaya be careful sa mga grupo or individual sa pagpili ng magpropromote sa kanila na businessman at kompanya baka gamitin lang sila for monetary gain.
