Such an enjoyable video! I love when you show full projects like this. Hey, how is the giant gazing ball coming along? Would love to see it as well! Thank you for sharing, Peter.
Thankyou so much Dawn, the gazing ball is coming along well, I did post an update in the mosaic Facebook groups, it was only a brief one around a minute. I am still adhering the roses and will do a proper update on UA-cam once I have more to show that's different. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
Thankyou very much Maxine appreciate that. I should have shown the side of the mosaic because the 24k gold on the plate looked really good. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
Always learn so much from your videos Peter...thank you. Would it be ok to tile the whole background and then place the teapot and flowers on top of the tiled background? I'm still not that proficient at cutting tile
Thankyou so much Michelle. You can do all the background first and then adhere everything else to the background, quite a few people do that. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
Thankyou so much appreciate that. I have a video on prepping a frame and its in that, I think 5mm. ua-cam.com/video/J6sYnMWK7SY/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
Thankyou so much. No l removed the glass, l created a seperate video on prepping the frame the link is in the video description box and shows you what l did and how l installed the MDF. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment. 😊
I am still not clear about what thickness of the picture frame to buy for the mosaics and if I have to buy the MDF on the side. I will appreciate if you answer me.,What is the name of the clay you use to glue the ceramics?
The thickness of the photo frame can be any thickness you like as long as its sturdy, strong and well made. The MDF you will most likely need to purchase separately, I generally use around 3 or 5mm depending on the size of the photo frame. The adhesive I am using is Aves Apoxie Sculpt. In the video description box is a link that will take you to a video showing how I prepare the frame. Here's the link to a video discussing the Apoxie Sculpt. ua-cam.com/video/O2uIQtNmVGA/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and for commenting. :)

The Epoxy you mix Part A and Part B in equal part and become very hard and give a final shining to the mosaics , Like varnish
It does become very hard but the finish is not like varnish. :)
So beautiful,thank you
