So cool 😎. It took me 5 yrs and various purchases across the brand. lol I used to think it was my braids or working class vs wealthy. Who knows? My wish was for a Togo 30 with palladium, but I was offered a Togo 35 with gold. Sooo I’m hoping one day I’ll be offered my wish size color leather and hardware.

Both of your Birkins are gorgeous. ♥ I also have had amazing service at my local Hermes. i don't have a Birkin but have a special order Kelly which i was lucky to be offered at my local boutique in Dublin. I'd bought mostly scarves and silver jewellery up till then. However, i work close to the store and would pop in regularly for a browse and a chat with the staff. I think the latter was the main reason I was offered the special order. I had never mentioned buying any bag but was chatting about the various leathers one day when my SA asked would i be ever interested in a Birkin. I said although the Birkin is a stunning bag, I'd prefer a Kelly because of the shoulder strap option. I tentatively asked how long it would take on the waiting list and before i knew it she'd offered me a special order as the quickest way to obtain my colour choice. 18 months later my bag arrived - etain exterior, electric blue lining brushed silver hardware! So long story short, the stories of endless spending on random items in the US sounds insane!

@Mavericklie do you mean when shopping in France, or shopping in your own country ? For example I live in Germany, and was not asked for my passport at Hermès 😊
@@delphinthecity when people from Asia or Australia we have to make leather appointment lottery online when we are in Paris. after all long flights hotel etc still cant guarantee we can get bag at Hermès paris
@Mavericklie oooh yes, Paris has a special lottery system which also applies to local residents !
Super vidéo Delphine! A mon avis c’est normal que Hermès priorise leur meilleurs clients pour obtenir des sacs aux US puisque la demande est Très supérieure à l’offre dans ce pays.

Il y a clairement un problème d'offre et demande, mais je préfère ça plutôt qu'une baisse de la qualité 🙈Mais ils pourraient proposer d'autres alternatives, par exemple une plus longue liste d'attente ou un lien constant avec la marque même si ce sont de petits montants à chaque fois ? Je trouve fou d'obliger à payer des dizaines de milliers de dollars 😱
