I use that sunline bag for all my line love it! Ott Defoe uses this rail blaza line spoiler that mounts underneath the lid on boat that I believe u should check out u might like it..thanks Bradley!
Great video, good luck on the upcoming season. I like to stretch my line from time to time but then again I still use a lot of mono and it really helps with mono. My tip is for spinning reels and is to remove the lure and while slow idling in the lake let all the line out behind the boat. The water friction on the line will pull all the line off and will stretch the line a tiny bit but more importantly it will remove all the line twist. Doesn’t take any time at all when all out, then just reel it in. The trick is to know when you get to the end when reeling back in. Be careful with knots because they can spin and add twist.
Great video and good tips. A friend of mine works on reels and is a Garcia man. He puts reels he has worked on and line in the bottom of his frig.. I am only a weekend angler and don't even fish tournaments. I keep my line in a storage compartment in my boat. Out of the sunlight. Keep up the videos.
Good stuff Hallman. I'm always glad to see your videos come up. It's my rookie year fishing with Natural State Kayak Anglers. I managed to make the cut to get into our local "Classic" so line is on my mind right now as I'm preparing for a couple of days on Beaver.
I like that line striper Hallman that was good stuff.I would like to no if your still drop shotting with that pink braid, and how you liked it this year. Thanks brother
I use the same deliner as you and have always wonder about over speeding the reel bearings. I don’t consider reel bearing high speed bearings. Any thoughts. I as well use the same spooler and carry a quick grip to secure it to my tailgate so it don’t jump around
Great video however I just use hair buns & rubber bands to keep line on the spool in storage. I don’t waste line and dont have to tie anything. Also DD26 makes a good looking line spooler. & line conditioners are seriously under utilized. Always helps me make longer cast imo, line last longer especially braid & avoid line/rod & reel freezing in cold weather.
Hey Bradley: For obvious cost savings for leaders, I prefer to buy a bigger spool of top brand fluorocarbon with good knot strength instead of a pricey 25yd spool of "fluorocarbon leader line". Please tell me why not? (Otherwise, I remain skeptical of line company profit scams.)
Keep all my line in a big cooler < Down the basement! Nice and cool ! Hate fluorocarbon! Exept a leader ! Bought tatsu 8lb just to try the best ! And it's like a slinky! On a spinning reels anyway < Peace brad < TY
Don’t think it’s overkill for a professional like yourself. Use a 1990 something Berkeley line stripper that takes a C battery lol😂, have had it for like 30 years and it still strips line like it’s brand new
Excellent content, you have a tendency to touch on topics other pros don’t!!!! Good on ya!!!
Good stuff Bradley I enjoy watching you fish and love your videos. You just sold me a Berkley line stripper and the Jewel pro line spooler
Best channel on UA-cam thanks for all the great content mr hallman
Wow, thanks!

That's the kind of info and video we need Bradley, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!!
Good video topic Bradley! I have the Sunline Line Bag, and it is AWESOME.
Love this type of video 👍
Your logic is the same as mine on this one. However i keep my line in coolers and cooler bags as a means to control temperature exposure.
Same👍🏼

That's a juicy schedule for next year 😊

Good content as always. Thanks Bradley.
Thanks for insights I just ordered on of the Pro Spoolers. Had the other stuff! You never lead us wrong!
How about a video on what Falcon rods to use with what baits/line - especially in East Texas.

I use sunline superline and have a lot of issues with line breaking in the spool and when I cast my bait goes flying lol
Awesome video BH..
Appreciate it.
Thanks for the vid Hallman. My question to you is there a way to figure out how old a fishing line is on the packaging? Like a born on date?

Need a little heater bowl to put ur line into that melts or molds line into a small plastic square to throw away. 🧐
If you have a line sponsor no need but with flouro being so expensive I run backing on all my reels and connect with a blood knot.
