Brad, so I too have the 35v pro guide for my 21 ft champion and it does amazing, I was curious if you know, I heard once that if you hook a lithium to your starting motor you void the warranty? That's why new boat makers sell you a boat with an agm

There are specific parameters by the manufacturers on what the battery has to meet or it "COULD" void the warranty. Pro-Guide does meet all Mercury specs so it is compliant 💪

I have lithiums on my small 16' tiller boat, by switching from flooded batteries I picked up speed and gobs of run time. I fish a lot of 9.9 HP restricted and electric only lakes, even though I have a 25 hp, I'm still allowed to fish them using my trolling motor and lithiums keep me on the water all day, even when moving around all day at 90-100%...I still have a group 24 lead for starting, and electrical things though.

I just have a little pond hopping boat and I’m getting a lithium for my trolling motor and Garmin because I take my battery out after every trip and that regular old battery is heavy to carry up steps so I’m gonna buy a lithium!

Can you run your trolling motor on 10 with the lithium’s? I have buddies who have to run at 7-8 max because of voltage issues …

Love my lithium batteries with my Ultrex. I run 3 12v 100 amp batteries for the TM. I’m on my 3rd season with them and fish about 80 days a year from my boat.

How's your Phoenix ride with all the weight reduction from the batteries? I've heard Phoenix's drive better with a bunch of weight in the rear...my 920 elite is already tricky to drive at speed with lead acids in the back, lol

It’s not a handling issue but it does slow them down. 3 mph or so difference from my past boats. I know it’s the weight difference

So I only fish about 3 times a month maybe for 6-8 hrs at a time. Would the lithium work or be an over kill my trolling motor is 36v. I have garmin at bow and one at stern.. and helix 7. My livescope is run off separate battery. I have five battery in my boat. 1 for cranking. 3 for trolling motor and electronics and one for livescope.

I fish about the same as you. Maybe 4 or 5 times a month for 8 to 10 hrs. I switched to pro guide lithiums because of hallman and soukup's info this spring. I run 2 75 ah wired for 24 volts lithium for my tm and the 100 ah dual purpose lithium for my starter/all accessory equipment/3 10 in garmins (1 with livescope). Runs all day, no concerns. I run an auto bilge on one of the 75 ah 12 volts and this also gives me a 12 v option if I need it for a jump or another reason. They also charge incredibly fast compared to lead acid.

You may be a candidate for just 1 36 volt! That would be great for you if that’s enough power and would last years

@@BradleyHallmanFishing I'll put in a plug the the Bass Tank and PGL. I buy all my electronics from them because of mainly you and BTL. I got one of the first M100 starting/deep cycle lithiums. It was faulty. They sent me a new one without hassle and got me back on the water. They stand behind their stuff with great customer service.
